My mother lives in Tampa and I live in North Carolina. When we go to Fla we stay at Echo Sails. The owners are great and the place is very clean. I have a teenage son who has spent many summer and fall vacations there and my daughter is only 4 but I hope she will be able to also!!!!

My husband and I took our 3 kids (teens) To ClearwaterBeach on a one week vacation and after checking into what the kids call the hooch hotel we ended up getting lucky and ran into the owner who was painting at the Echo Sails we got the 2 bedroom apartment for one week and we had a great time. Not to mention it was clean and bug free. We do plan on going back.

If you are ever planning on visiting Clearwater Beach, Florida, then Echo Sails Motel and Apartments is the place to stay. When you hear the word "motel" our minds usually think of sleazy, unclean lodges, but Echo Sails is the exact opposite. It's more like a mini-hotel (mini+hotel=motel).

Located on 216 Hamden Dr it's close to everything! Only a five minute walk to the beach, near many ice-cream shops, restaurants, stores and parks, it's in the best place of all. It's a very clean hotel that features 14 guest rooms and 2 V.I.P rooms that can accomidate any amount of people. All rooms include a kitchenette with a stove and fridge, a sitting area with cable tv and a pull-out sofabed, a 3 piece bathoom and a bedroom with a queen and a single bed. The hotel also has an amazing clear blue pool, a shuffle board deck and laundry facilities. Also, a vending machine, payphone and microwave are for guests use.

Echo Sails is a very well-priced, well maintained motel that is cleaned and taken care of by the friendly owners. Echo Sails has great clientel so if you're interested you'll need to book a few months ahead of time beacause this great place is always reserved. It's a great motel in one of Florida's top ten beaches, a high tourist place and a great family vacation.

In closing, I would like to say that if you ever consider travelling to Clearwater Beach then you MUST stay at Echo Sails. You will not be disappointed. REcently had the chance to stay at a nice little motel on Clearwater BEach called Echo Sails. We ended up staying there with no reservation after leaving another motel early due to cleanliness issues. Echo Sails is very reasonably priced, is very clean and well maintained. The owners do all the cleaning and mainenance themselves and are there 7 days a week. They are very friendly, and seem to have a lot of repetitive business and people who stay for a month to three months at a time. The sad part is that with all of the recent development in Clearwater Beach that there is possibility that this motel will fall the way to redevelopment like the other ones there. STay here while you can, it's a very positive experience.
