“Hidden gem in a parking lot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

At the risk of having my new favorite hotel being discovered, I have to say that the Palm Pavilion is a wonderful gem in the midst of the high rise, expensive, chaos that is Clearwater Beach. The beach is 100' away, excellent restaurants are within blocks, crazy spring break bars are within yards, a wonderful sundeck is on the roof, a cute little pool is available, cozy rooms and suites are available, a helpful and happy staff is available 24/7, coffee in your room or in the central breakfast bar, newspapers at the door, friendly guests...everyone has a smile and for good reason...this is a great place. Oh, and it is affordable. I will visit Clearwater Beach again and I will stay here.

Room Tip: Get the front suites on the third floor. Great view lots of space.

This hotel was a great experience. I stayed there the end of February with my 2 teenage children. The rooms were small but clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location can not be beat right on the beach with parking and the bar is fun and very lively. I will recommend this to anyone I talk to and hope to visit again soon.

I love this place! This is our third year staying at the Palm Pavilion. The staff is very friendly. Steps from the sand and ocean. If you feel like having a drink or a bite to eat, i love being able to stroll right over to the beach bar with my flip flops and bathing suit on. Its on the quieter end of town...not so much traffic.
Reasonably priced too.

Love this place. Best hotel in Clearwater Beach if you want a nice quiet atmosphere day or night. Staff ultra friendly and bend over backwards for anything you need and also consistently ask if you need anything. Even the bar at night is not rowdy, loud and full of intoxicated customers. Food at grill is great and for the beach, prices are respectable. Sitting out front at night is quite relaxing with a cigar at your side. Just a great overall experience. Last but not least, you don't have to go to Key West to get a breath taking view of sunset out on the beach and the Gulf in the background just steps from the In's front door.

Room Tip: They are all good rooms. If you want a view, get ones in the hotel. If you want room and the ameni...

The Palm Pavilion has a choice location right on Clearwater Beach. This vintage property is really comfortable, clean and convenient - a step back in time. Recently updated rooms, paint, carpet - everything is modern and up-to-date. The staff is all really friendly - every one of them. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the real value here is the beach front location. The restaurant has great live music that stops exactly at 11pm so everyone in the hotel can have a good night's sleep. The only suggestion I would have is to get real pillows for the beds. Would be happy to stay here again anytime.

We came to Clearwater without a reservation and started calling beach hotels from my navigator on the phone. Most were nearly $200. I had remembered seeing this on tripadvisor when we passed so we stopped. Great rates. They were practically on the beach, but their sister restaurant/bar blocks the view unless you have a high room. . Rooms were well appointed with flat screens, nice furniture, tiled showers and obviously newly redone. The staff was wonderful. The rooftop deck with deck chairs and table was a great place for the view and to take your drinks. We tried the pool out back and it was warm and no one using it, obviously because everyone was at the beach. I would definitely come back here to stay on another visit. We had a king room which was not a huge room, but comfortable beds. Being able to pull in and park right beside the beach with an attendant for free was wonderful., No parking charges. Deb the manager was on the premises and all the staff most welcoming. Don't tell too many people about this place or you and I will never get a room there......:-)

Room Tip: There is no elevator. We had a ground floor corner room. If you want a view you may want a higher ro...

The staff was always helpful, all not just some.
Good value includes parking and close to everything.
All new carpet was just installed. Came for one night ended up staying three.
I forgot my running shoes in the room and they were happy to mail them to my home.

Room Tip: If you want a good view, grab a to go item and head up to the rooftop loft area.
