This is info how out holiday was in Sept 12 at Pelican Point Hotel.
We parked our car nearby front desk and after 3 day vacation we discovered that someone robbed our car trunk. All items were missing. We were shocked about management respond. Specially manager Melanie and owner Wolfgang. They played hide and seek game. We ask some refund for this accident. They promised all time some complimentary nights(we stay 5 night, third time at this hotel ) and etc but when our departure day arrived manager Melanie and owner Wolfgang were hide somewhere.Ofcourse we dont got any compensation. According to police report and words of police officer this wasn't first time and he was sure that employees of hotel was involved with this robbery.

And our vacation start with big cockroach which was no 314 room. Bug's were everywhere: kitchen, bed, bathroom. Explenation was"this is Florida and it normal" HELLO????

We loved our stay at Pelican Pointe!! Extremely fun and convenient stay in an adorably fun and affordable hotel. Normally when you think "hotel on the beach", you think $200+ for a room with one double bed, but I paid half that much for a 6 person room. The awesome price made me think for sure I'd get there and find that the pictures were better than reality. I warned the group I was going with that it probably wouldn't be very nice but it was all that I could afford. Turns out they were so impressed, they couldn't stop congratulating me on such a great find!! It's rare to find such great value. I plan to stay here every time I need a hotel in the Clearwater area. Thanks Pelican Pointe!

Checked in for a 2 night stay only to find that our reservation had been deleted from the system. This was our own fault and I was afraid we would have to pay a lot more extra as the first reservation was done through booking.com. Melanie and Aaron in reception worked some magic and not only upgraded our room, they also matched the price of booking.com! They continued the good service throughout our stay and were both interested in us and eager to tell us about Clearwaters dining options and other activities in the area.

Our room was spacious, colorful, clean and we felt at home the second we walked in. I would have loved to see the bathroom updated. Other then that I was very happy.

The location is fantastic! Sadly the weather was not on our side so we didn't really get to enjoy the beach other then the first evening. Like others have written before, the sunset was truly special and worth a trip see.

Breakfast was available right next to the reception. Nice choice of doughnuts and other sweet morning starters as well as porridge and snack bars. Also a good choice of tea, coffee, juices and water.

Hi My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and would recommend this hotel, The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the location is good just a few minutes walk to the Beautiful beach of Clearwater where the sand is soft and powdery.

The room was very spacious with a sitting area and the king size bed was very comfortable,we also had a fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The room also had a T,V and was fully airconditioned.

Everything was clean and well presented and overall good value for money. The complimentary breakfast was basic but okay with a choice of healthy cereal bars,pop tarts or muffins and donuts with fresh orange or tea and coffee.

There was free parking on site too and would totally recommend this hotel and would certainly return,

We did use the small pool area which is small but clean and done the job of cooling you down,
