“Florida's best beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Beautiful beach, with everything. Nice accomadations, rental properties on North end I highly recommend if longer stay and if you like to be directly on the beach and within walking distance to everything. Very convenient and stores, and shops all throughout area. Nice restaurants everywhere. New rooftop hooters. So many nice places and hotels, so many things to do... jet ski, parisailing, taking out pirate boat, dolphin boat, charter boats and so much more

“Wonderful days! and evenings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We visited Clearwater during MLK weekend this year. Based on review we wanted to see Pier 60 as soon as we got settled in. It was wonderful. It was a nice place to hang out and relax, Their pier has fishing stuff available for rent and a small souvenir/snack shop. It was .50 to walk to the end of the pier but well worth the $1.00 for my and hubby to walk out. The folks were friendly and it makes a nice backdrop for your vacation photos.. the evening "Sunset at the Pier" was great. you have to experience it.. The vendors and street entertainers were fun and not overly pushy ..people of all ages were there and people watching is a bonus..

“Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Located directly on Clearwater Beach this pier has a free movie every Friday night and every night puts on an arts & crafts venue. It extends over 100' into the gulf and has a fishing pier as well. There is also a playground adjacent for the kiddies.

“Good place to sightsee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Pier 60 is a nice Pier to walk out on to take in the view of the beach and see the people fisihing. There is a small store on the pier where you go get soft drinks and snacks.
You have to pay to go all the way to the end. Its like .50 cents
that is where most the fishing peple are.
Pier 60 has a nice park and playground area for the kids. The play ground equipment is under roofs so they sand stays cool, protected from the sun and rain.
There is a snack bar that serves hamburgers, hot dogs ect and ice cream.
Large clean restrooms open to the public.
They have an Sunset Fest almost every night around 5pm. Music, pirates, art, crafts, street vendors ect.
On Friday nights they show movies. bring your chairs or blankets and settle in for a movie on the beach.
Well taken care of area. Parking meters for parking. $1.50 for 2 hours or $12.50 for the day.
Great place for famliy.
Don't get food and try to eat on the beach. The sea gulls will mob you. I saw a guy trying to protect his ice cream, he was dive bombed bya sea gull, cut his hand and dropped the cone. The birds were everywhere.
A mother was trying to feed her baby baby food, the birds were all around her and the baby. She gave up and fed the child in the car.
Other than the birds, it is a nice place to spend the day.
You can rent a Cabana on the beach for $25.00 per day from 9am to 5pm with 2 chairs. Extra chairs cost $7.00 per day.

“Bonus on the Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We discovered Pier 60 when vacationing at Clearwater Beach. Every evening they have a few vendors/artists making things like hand blown glass etc. Also have street performers, juggling, acrobatics, playing music and more. They show free movies on big screen Friday and Saturday evenings at sundown. Covered and shaded playground for kids. Often they have moon walk, bouncy things and trampoline set up for kids but there is small charge. Clean restrooms and small cafe on site that has food, drinks, ice cream and beach toys
