The Chart House is a nice quite place to stay in a active, noisy town. It is not within walking distance of the beach, but there is lots of public parking on the beach. Our room was very large and nice-with a private wood deck over-looking a sail-boat marina.

The views from the Chart House were beautiful. The marina is very quaint. The rooms were very nice and the pool was clean. Chart House is located in a very nice area, away from the noisy main streets of Clearwater Beach and is perfect for enjoying a peaceful vacation. I was glad I stayed here after seeing some of the other area hotels. I could enjoy my vacation and worry about avoiding my hotel. In Clearwater Beach, you get what you pay for!! It is a little bit of a walk from the "action" of the beach but is very close to a few nice restaurants.
While in Clearwater, I suggest taking a trip on the "sea screamer" which is located at the municipal marina. It was a highlight of our vacation. The dolphins play in the boat's wake. I even saw a dolphin calf!!!!

I had found Chart House when I was traveling thru Florida looking for accomodations for myself while I was traveling with my dog . I was pleasantly surprised with the Chart house . and have been back there every time I visit Florida ! And , yes ,,, the view is great !@!@

The hotel is well maintained and very clean. I loved the sailboats in the marina, and the quiet evenings on my balcony. The staff was terrific and quite knowledgeable about the area-(great restuarant tips). I highly recommend Chart House for a quiet gettaway.
