After passing the guard shack you feel like you're almost on a movie set. The long driveway is worth the wait.
Wanting a weekend getaway we found the Biltmore while searching the internet. My boyfriend and I wanted something charming, quiet, out of the way but yet close enough to everything. Well we got it. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical but after setting foot in the front entrance all my fears diappeared. We were greeted at the door and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
You want romance? Then take a walk around the yards and take in the scenery or yester years. How beautiful and romantic everything was from the Christmas tree displays and decorations throughout the hotel to the lovely old fashioned rocking chairs on the veranda's.
I would deinately recommend this hotel to friends and family if they're looking for something reasonably priced yet high style.
The only problem we had was the water pressure in our room. Took forever to wash/rince my hair (as it's long).
Also the roof was in desparate need of repair. What an eyesoar when you pull up to the front of the hotel.
