“Grand Prix”

Powerful cars, but they are very expensive. If you're into fast powerful go-carts, this will be up your alley, but you'll pay for them.

“Not honest about wait or cost”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

The racing is pretty good, BUT the management is awful. There were MANY people unhappy with the shifting wait times. We went on a Wednesday for the Buy 2, get 1 race free special and when we paid were charged the regular price, being told they don't run the special when "it's this busy." I won't recommend this place, which is too bad because it SHOULD be a cool experience.

“Fantastic family outing with ALL our older kids!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We stumbled on this place, on a lazy - nothing-to-do - Monday afternoon - and we are sooo glad that we did! There were six of us (2 parents, 4 teens) which was just enough for us to create a "private group". We did the GRAND PRIX race, which comes with 1 practice race (11 laps), 1 qualifying race (12 laps) and 1 serious race (11 laps). The final race comes complete with pace car and medal ceremony - yes - you heard me right! That meant that our kids pulled out all the competitive stops to win the TROPHY!

What we enjoyed most about the facility (besides the racing of course) was that when you are done with each race, each participant gets a very nice printout of their racing stats - lap by lap. There's enough time between the races, to fall into their couch lounge, read the stats, joke, laugh and strategize for the next race.

Our teen family has done it all together, paintball, canoeing, skydiving, boating - ALL. This is by far the best local family outing we have had in a long time. Just a word of advice, budget accordingly, with the group rate, we still spent $50/person because we felt the package with the trophy was worth it to give the kids something to brag about for Christmases to come. So for all 6, it was just a hair over $300 with tax. The license fee is included with the packages (not if you race ala carte).

I recommend a cooler for refreshments that you can keep out in your car for between races.

We'll be back!

“Best place to go to for something a little different!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

I've been go karting before, but this wasn't an experience like that of the fair. These karts are legit, and go fast! It's nothing like you would expect, and it's most definitely something fun to do that isn't the usual movie. Staff is nice, facility nice. Will be going back for sure!
