“Nice quiet park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a nice quiet place. You can walk around in the shade and relax or go check out the water. Sand Key is a quiet place away from all the tourist stuff.

“Shells!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

The beach was clean, not crowded, with a food stand nearby and bathroom and changing facilities. We found a lot of shells and the sand perfect for building sand castles. One word of caution: SEAGULLS! Don't feed them and be prepared to defend your food from dive bombers.

“Small park, with beach.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Nice little park, just a beach and restrooms, maybe a short walking area or could fish. Must pay to park. I think it was 25 cents per 15 minutes. Usually not that crowded when I've been there.

“Nice Clean Beach Without the Hotels Around It.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

It is free to go to the beach but they have parking meters. The park is very clean. The beach is not surrounded by high rise buildings or hotels. Canoe Club members can be seen practicing here sometimes. There are lots of parking spaces. It is family-friendly.

“on the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

This is a wonderful park. The dog park is in the sun so that is not good during the summer. But the beach is really nice and clean. There is plenty of parking and a very nice playground for kids.
