“Very enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2011

We went out on the Tradewinds on a 4 pm sail (they also go out earlier) - perfect for seeing the sunset, and despite being only 3 of us they went out anyway - so was like having our own private sailing vessel! "Capt." Brian was very welcoming and let us participate as much as we wanted to steer, raise and lower sails, etc - or just relax and enjoy your BYOB (he had cold bottles water also). Although there wasn't much wind that day, he still put all sails up - only regret we couldn't see the 60' vessel from a distance as we were on it! Heading in just around sunset he spotted some dolphins and he took us over at entrance to Sand Key Bridge, stopped the engines and we enjoyed seeing these playful creatures close up, very much. A wonderful way to spend a few hours on a beautiful day off the shores of Clearwater Beach!

“Not to be missed! The best cruise in Clearwater!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2010

The sailing vessel, Tradewinds is a 3 masted classic schooner. Small groups of 6 or less, you can help sail or just sit and relax while taking in the view. You are welcome to bring drinks and snacks to make it a sailing picnic! They also have a power boat, which is very comfortable also. You can see dolphins jumping and beautiful sunsets! The Captain in our case Captain Chris, was very accommodating, and will keep you entertained with his humor and sea stories.
