“"Could have been better."”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

The atmosphere was nice, with outside seating located on the water, with average service. We wanted the Smoked Fish Spread, but they were out of it, so instead we had a tuna appetizer which was average, the fish taco's which were also average (recipe could have been better) and a mug of the clam chowder that was very good. The overall cost was a little more than expected.

“Good food, cheap parking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

You can park at the hourly meters and jump in for lunch - very inexpensive seafood with good options - see the fresh catches of the day. Beer and wine choices are okay - good sangria:)

“Good Fish Tacos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Never had fresh fish tacos, so I figured this would be the place to try them. They were good, but not great .... kind of skimpy on the fish. I also asked for a glass of their house Merlot. When it arrived, it very warm as it had apparently been sitting outside in the sun. Also, it tasted very vinegary. I don't recall ever sending back a glass of wine before, but it was undrinkable. The waitress quickly replaced it with a chilled Pino Grigio which was fine.

“Small, fun and hidden restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We brought our fresh catch in here that we had caught earlier in the day on a fishing charter. It could be prepared blackened/sauteed/or as fish tacos. All options were great. Cheap beer prices at prime dinner hour as well on a weekend!

There aren't many tables, so you might have to wait a bit with a larger group. Overall, I would not want to take a fresh catch to be prepared anywhere else!

“Catch of the day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

We brought our freshly caught grey snapper from our day aboard the double eagle deep sea fishing charter. For 8.95 they prepared our fish we brought in. Delicious. They also brought us sides family style: chips, broccoli, coleslaw, pasta salad. Everything was delicious. All the seating is outside and it is truly a unique experience. Loved the atmosphere. So glad we chose to bring our "fresh catch" to the bait house. I would have loved to try some other things on their menu, but we didn't have time to make it back there!
