Our family has stayed at the hotel every year since it opened in 1988. The suites and great pool area make it great for families, but it is managements emphasis on service that makes it a place we continue to return. Whether it is the friendly front desk people like Brandon and Nikki, or the gracious and accomadative hostess, Gayle, in the dining room, the staff is there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

I love Marriott hotels but this one wasn't up to standards. The carpets in the rooms were filthy, the beds squeeked when you moved and they weren't very comfortable. The bathtub was rusted. This property is in desperate need of a makeover. This is more of a motel than a hotel. The rooms are on the outside of the hotel. I don't like heights and it was pretty scary walking to my room. The view is spectacular from your balcony. It's not on the beach, there is one across the road. Overall, I was very disappointed in this property.

We were booked from the UK to stay here after spending a week in Disney. This is not in my view a Marriot standard hotel and we stay in a lot of Marriotts. I would rate it as more of a motel - the tacky kind you see in American movies! The rooms are small - we couldn't fit 2 travel cots in with the sofa bed for our other child. The rooms are ok for 2 people max in my view. The sheets smelt dirty, the carpets in the room needed a good clean, vacuum and wash and the attitude of the pool staff was beyond belief, very rude and lacking severely in customer service skills. We were very shocked as we assumed Marriott operated a standard throughout the world. The only redeeming feature of this hotel was the lovely, charming porter who took our bags to our room and the front of desk staff and a staff member, Christopher who called to apologise and to offer us any help we needed. I would seriously advise them to all go and work for a better outfit than this one as their skills are wasted in this dump. I would also say the rooms with balconies facing onto the water are dangerous for small children as are the exposed balconies on the walkway on the other side. I can also hear a huge roar of the massive ac machine right below our room. As I write this my family have managed to find another hotel for us to stay in as there is no way I could face a night in this place. Holidays for us are meant to be a time for relaxation and time with our family. Hopefully once we're out of here our holiday can now begin.

The suites have great views from both sides of your room! The folks working the pool bar are fantastic and very attentive! All the meals we had in the dining room were excellent ~ especially the steaks. Two big screen TVs ~ one in the bedroom and the other in the sitting room which has a wet bar, with microwave & fridge. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay!
