We're big fans of Celebration so when we needed to spend a couple of nights in Orlando, picked this hotel over the usual tourist traps.

We booked a Lakeview Room on the hotels' website (seemed the same price as anywhere else). When we were allocated our room it was very dark and poky. The window was very small. Take care when booking, many of the rooms on the 3rd floor have small windows. We changed rooms to an alternative room with a bigger window.

Despite the town's very manicured and stylish design, the hotel is different inside than it's exterior suggests. It's a bit 'Tommy Bahamas' inside. Room furniture is pretty dark and traditional, not contemporary and stylish. Amenities are nothing special. Air Con is VERY noisy, sounds like a tap running when you switch it off (you need to call maintenance to sort it out). One of the noisest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Apparently their air con system runs on water which accounts for the noise, but as the hotel is only around 10 years old, it's strange it is so old fashioned.

You pay a $12 daily 'resort fee' which is basically for internet connection and 2 bottles of water.

Pool is okay, quite refreshing on a hot day, I had to request towels as there were no clean ones available.

It's nice to be somewhere in Orlando you can walk to restaurants/shops etc. You can grab breakfast at Market Street Cafe or Starbucks minutes away. There is ample free parking nearby, so no need to use the valet.

It's a shame about this hotel, it seems to be a wasted opportunity in a great little town.

“Great boutique hotel- not a resort”

Great boutique hotel in the lovely town of Celebration. Very close to the main attractions and to 192, where there a lot of dining alternatives.

The room size and bathroom were kind of a dissapointment since expectations were high due to the room rate, which was not cheap. Room was clean and tastefully decorated.

The staff was very courteous. $12 daily resort fee was a joke since facilities are clearly very limited. Hotel is smaller than it looks in website pictures. High Speed Internet was excellent.

Although facility has no parking for guests, it was very easy to get a space on the street right in front of the hotel.

“Tranquility Amongst the Mobs”

Celebration Hotel

We have stayed in numerous hotels in the Kissimee area from budget to high end and I would rank Celebration as our favorite. It is close enough to Disney to easily enjoy the parks but far enough removed to have a very adult atmosphere. Check in was accommodated while sitting down at a desk by a very efficient and friendly staff member. The room was quite comfortable with nice amenities. And when we used the hot tub at night we were the only two people there. Downtown Celebration, with many shops and restaurants, was right outside the doors of the hotel. There is also a great walking path that takes you through some wetlands with a nice variety of birds nearby.

Great stay at the Celebration. Changed rooms once I checked in. Original room was decent in size but dark. Window started 4 feet from the floor. Staff pleasantly changed to another room. I loved it. Corner room on the water. No deck but windows that opened with ceiling fan.

Rooms are tastefully done. Staff is great. Great place to walk or jog. Since it is on a lake, well it is 3 connected lakes, there is a lot of walking space. You will encounter lots of different species of birds on the lakes.

Small size keeps things personal. The checkin desk is a desk with people sitting behind it. The room package is personalized with your name. It actually contains useful information.

An excellent retreat from the land of the Mouse and other assorted Super Heros. My newest favorite place in the Orlando area.

Just nice...

Bayonet Point, Florida

We have a timeshare at the Boardwalk at Disney but had heard so much about the Celebration Hotel so we decided to stay one night. They checked us in early around 2:30 because I had called ahead for an early check-in. The town is very quaint and inviting. The hotel is very nice with a pool and hot tub. We ate at the hotel restaurant Plantation which was excellent. We walked into the town which is right by the hotel and had a nice lunch. We sat by the lake which reminded us of a bygone time. We took a ride around the development and it seems like a wonderful community. We were glad we experienced what it must be like to live in this town inspired and built by Disney. It was a nice diversion that forces you to sit back and take it all in.
