Room, bed, staff, pool all 4 star.
WiFi is very poor all sections of the hotel. We had 10 rooms spread out, so we know.
Breakfast is a disappointment, staff very nice but for a vacation hotel a little more than a croissant! For 17$! Do not plan on breakfast at the hotel, drive to Publix and buy some to bring to the room. Or go to IHOP also close by.
It is to bad that these 2 exist otherwise It really would be a 4+ experience.

We stayed at the Melia this week for 4 nights.

Rooms: I was happy with the room sizes and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the balcony. When we arrived there was only a pot, no frying pan. We called the front desk requesting one to be brought up, it took about 45 minutes but they did bring us one. The fruniture was nice but there see scratches on some of it, I am sure this is to be expected since having so many people in and out of the rooms.

Fees: not really sure what the resort fee covered. We did not receive a newspaper and the gym was not in the resort. We did receive our 2 bottles of water wleach day room service cleaned our room. Also they charged a pending charge of $50.00 against my card for which they stated will be refunded after checkout.

Pool: the pool was very nice and relaxing and my girls really enjoyed it. I liked that one side was walk in and the other had steps. Also enjoyed the hot tub.

Overall hotel: The overall hotel was nice but they need to clean just a bit more In detail. For instance they need to vacumn the edges inside the elevators. Clean the light fixturws in the hallway and by the elevators. Also they only have 1 ice machine that I know of. They do have a ice machine in our room, which i was vey happy anout, but when we first arrived we needed ice until the one in our freezer made enough for our stay. The ice machine was far from our room and not super easy to get to from our room Where we were.

Internet: This is my biggest complaint. My husband and I needed to work while here and we were not able to get internet access strong enough to let us work. We had to use our hotspot on our phones which used a ton of our data.

My overall stay was great but the internet made me change my rating to 4 stars.

This hotel is very convenient to the Disney Theme Parks!

The staff was friendly and the suites are clean and very spacious. The decor is basic.

Getting enough towels and wash clothes to cover our family was an issue throughout our stay. We were even left with no wash clothes on one day.

Overall, the stay was a good one and we would return.

Had to spend 4 nights in FL for business and regrettably stayed @ Melia. Where to begin...Hotel is run down, carpet is stained, etc. Internet did not work on the 1st night - had to call IT 2X, call down to front desk before Maint. employee simply reset access. Saw at least 2 bugs in the room. Patio door lock was broken and I had to insist that it was repaired. Light fixtures in Living Area and 1 in Bedroom did not work. No bath mat, hand towels or washcloth on 1st night. Mixture of toiletry brands (Supply low?). The side door to hotel was NEVER locked until my last night - and on that night my hotel keys didn't work. Luckily someone let me in as front desk is far from side door. Key did not work in room slot so had to wait for someone to bring up new key. Couldn't wait to get out of that dump!

Booked through Thomson to stay over Easter. This hotel is in an excellent location with all the facilities you need on your doorstop. The hotel main areas are immaculate and clean. Lovely swimming pool and restaurant. staff friendly enough. Although the rooms may be a bit basic the beds are comfy and for the minimum time you spend in them they are ideal and perfectly adequate. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return

Stayed in 2 bed family suite with 4 adults and 2 kids, good size perfect for our group, deco and decoration was looking a little worn in places, nice to have a full kitchen. Rooms were more like a 3 star hotel.
But the pool and bar area was 4 star. It is a nice place to spend time relaxing, lots of beds and chairs and tables. Bar staff came around every half hour or so, friendly not pushy to make sure we were good for drinks. We checked in at 1pm, room was not ready till 4 so spent all afternoon at pool, a pity there was a problem with the pool it was very cloudy and had algae on the side walls, two maintenance guys were working on it for a good hour or so. I think they should have closed the pool while it was fixed as both my kids ended the afternoon with a rash. A pity as it is such a nice place to relax. pool was ok next day clear and blue.
Beds were comfy and rooms were quiet until 2am when a fight broke out in the next room almost called the police as it seemed to be getting out of hand, lots of noise and shouting for nearly an half an hour. It is astonishing that people can be so inconsiderate to other guests.
Panera Bread is across the street and the hotel is just of I4 for easy access to the attractions.
Overall this is a good choice if you need a spacious family room and a nice pool area.

Room Tip: Get a pool view room, outside rooms overlook car park scrub land or I4

Well if you ever stayed in a true 4 start hotel this is not it for sure. While the room is spacious and large the TV looks like it is from 1989 and the furniture is used up and dated. The pool is nice but hotel is really not a 4 star hotel so don't expect that.
