My wife and I from England and my sister from Vancouver stayed in Unit 203 at Seahorse Landing from 10th. to 17 April 2007. It exceeded all our expectations.

The Unit was well equipped, well furnished and clean. I have no reason to believe that the other Units are any different. The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area covers the full width of the Unit, as does the balcony. The view out to the Gulf is unobstructed, although we did not see any dolphins. The small swimming pool and jacuzzi were in pristine condition, although the weather was too cool for us to use them.

We have no connection with Seahorse landing other than as very satisfied customers. It was apparent that there was some 'history' surrounding the previous review that was not related to the condition of the Unit (not the one we were in) or of Seahorse Landing. I am confident that anyone thinking of staying there and reading this, can safely ignore the previous review.

We have vacationed in Cedar Key, Florida at Seahorse Landing for the last 7 years. We have never had a bad experience while staying there. The units are beautifully furnished and well maintained. The property manager, Janet Blackwell will go above and beyond to make sure that everything suits our needs. It is a beautiful property, and has all the nicest amenities you could ask for. We have tried staying other places while on the Key, but have never been as satisfied as we are at Seahorse Landing. Truly a terrific place to stay. The key itself is just magnificient. We sit on our balcony in the mornings and watch dolphins playing right out by the private dock, the birds are plentiful and the fishing is great. we look forward to making at least 3 to 4 trips down each year.

Of all our travels in Florida, up and down the East Coast and into the central areas, we have enjoyed our stay in Cedar Key the most. In addition to the quality of the accomodations--we continually remarked on the sensible design of the room layouts and comfort and convenience of all the other features--the activities and recreation were top notch! A great pool, plus fishing, crabbing, boat & bicycle rentals, and easy access to snorkelling and swimming spots at many nearby clear-water springs. We liked it so much we stayed an extra month!

We have been spending a couple months each winter at Seahorse Landing at Cedar Key, Florida. Cedar Key is located on the western shore of Florida and is in a perfect spot to watch the sea creatures and birds in their natural habitat. The natural coast of Florida is still pristine and beautiful. The folks at Seahorse Landing provide a relaxed place to spend some quiet time in Florida. The accommodations are great - lovely condos with two bedrooms and two baths and every condo has a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. Condos are nicely furnished, decorated and maintained. The pool and the spa provide recreation and a place to relax in the sun. While the traffic is whizzing past in many other Florida locations, the number of cars which pass Seahorse Landing are few and quiet. We love it there - no better place to read, relax, get to know the local folks and spend some great winter months.
