After the hussle and bustle of the Orlando area, we were seeking some peace and tranquility. This series of keys is like a slice of old Florida that time has passed by. The town is nestled abound various creeks and waterways that all lead to the Gulf. Cedar Key is like an old New England fishing village. Wonderful sunsets and vistas.
We stayed in a very well kept Condo development, Seahorse Landing. The units were all quite different in decor and amenities, but each and every one had magnificent views of the evening's sunsets. Each unit has a wonderfully large private deck overlooking the water. It is a short walk to the center of town, which features several seafood restaurants, some art galleries and some gift shops.
The Seahorse management couln't be more helpful and accomodating. The manager, Janet Blackwell, runs a very tight ship, and all needs are attended to promptly.
We would go back, and would gladly recommend this peaceful town and this condominium.
