My sister and I just spent a week at Seahorse Landing. (#503). I have to say, I had never been to Cedar Key before and spent a great deal of time looking on the internet for the right place to stay. Really, look no further-Seahorse Landing is the BEST place to stay. First of all, it is RIGHT on the water with beautiful sunsets every night. When you wake up in the morning, you open up the door and step right out to a serene morning view of the water. Seahorse Landing also has a pool which was perfect because Cedar Key doesn't have many beach areas. The pool was clean and inviting.
We chose to stay on the top floor which we really liked. Our rental came with everything we needed and was very clean. It was spacious and well taken care of.
The front desk workers were very helpful and friendly. There was always someone there to answer a quick question or help us decide what to do that day.
Finally, Seahorse Landing is a quiet place. No big partiers-just people there for a nice vacation.
I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to my friends.
One bit of advice-if you do go to Cedar Key, take the time and visit Manatee Springs in Chiefland, FL. It is a natural spring and the swimming and snorkeling is out of this world!
