The owner of these cottages actually asked us to leave. Why? Well were told 2 times they had a place to park a truck pulling a boat. When we got there the only parking was single slots along the highway. He said we could back the trailer in and unhook it, only trouble was that the truck had to sit in the middle of a busy highway while you unhooked the trailer. I told the owner that they should of mentioned that on the phone when I called and he got very offensive and said well your boat is very big. It is a 21' boat which I would not call unreasonable large. My husband then called a number on a vacant lot accoss the street and they let us pull the boat in there. Then when we were looking at the cabin my husband asked about fish cleaning and the owner said no they did not have a place just a hose out front and my husband said that will work but you may want not want to mention having a fish cleaning place online. He was not rude just trying to give a helpful comment and the owner goes well I don't think this is going to work. I don't need to be talked to like this.... I think you need to leave. We were absolutely floored. My husband and I have both owned business's and we just could not imagine what was wrong this fellow. So we stayed a great place Park Place hotel, great staff, right next to boat docks and parking. Locals in Cedar Key are great. We will be back and spend our money on a regular basis. Cedar Key is very nice and quaint.
