“Breakfast at Annie's”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

We read all the reviews and decided to stop for breakfast before heading home. The waitress was efficient and pleasant; however, was not wow'd as others on the meal. My husband had the fried mullet breakfast special $11.95 (came with tomato slices and grits). He likes to try the "specials". It was just OK. Expected more for $11.95. I had the french toast, I would say just OK. Considering all the raves and reviews, we expected a little more. Nothing bad, just OK.

“Wonderful Cafe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Annie's Cafe is the best kept secret in Cedar Key! You will not be disappointed with their menu, for any meal! Every person working there greeted anyone who entered and went out of their way for all. Every meal we have eaten there has been terrific (breakfast and lunch).

“Wonderfully gritty.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Dont expect some one to bonce up to your table and tell you their name is Lance or Tiffany. Nor should you expect the wait staff to wander over and disinterestedly ask if everything is all right.

Great food, a very hardworking staff who have little time to pamper.

Fried green tomatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!

The place is great and you cannot help but admire the industry of the staff. In fact the whole town seems like it has an ethic of hard work and directness.
