“Pretty nice, waterside dining experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Weve eaten here a couple of times during our stay. Both times have been very good. The quality of food, service and overall experience have been excellent. Not the cheapest food...but everything in this town seems expensive so by comparison to other places we've eaten...quite good considering the quality.

Excellent location...especially by boat. Trundling back on the water with a full stomach at sun set is a memory I'll long remember.

“Overpriced / Lacking in Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Location is beautiful, however service seemed to be lacking. When I spend over $85 on a meal for two, I feel as though I should never have to wait for drink refills or wait over 10 minutes to be greeted at our table - especially since the place was not busy at all.

The food was ok, not the best filet that I've ever had, but not the worst either. The demi-glace was extremely salty and the mushrooms were over cooked. Drinks were pretty tasty though - I will give them that. Parking is very plentiful and convenient.

All in all, It was nice, but for the prices they charge and the quality of the waitstaff and food, we won't be going back.

“Excellent Restaurant with beautiful views and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Plenty of car parking at the front with attentive staff from point of entry and throughout our meal. We sat at the back overlooking the river and the boats - simply WOW! Food was received very well by our family including our children aged 8 and 13 - not the easiest to satisfy. Staff were also well trained in their knowledge of the menu and specials - not always seen in other restaurants we use. Upselling of a discount card was done sensitively and would allow you to save approx. 30% on future meals to the value of the card purchased - worth considering if you will be returning a couple of times.

“Not all is cracked up to be, disappointing.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

We were recommended by the Westin hotel while on vacation so we figured it must be good. The outside leading up the restaurant is very nice, even the outside is nice. However, when you walk in, you soon realize it looks like a diner. My friend said, the prices can't be that expensive if the hostess is dressed like that?? Well we were wrong. The place looks run down on the inside. The carpet by the windows needs cleaning. We found hair on our table. It was so hot that we asked for a manager. She came & then said that the AC broke a little while ago & that they were working on it. It kept getting hotter. I finally asked for a discount off my tab because we were not aware the AC was broken or we never would have eaten there. Then a male manager comes & apologizes saying that they are not sure if the air is broken or its just hot outside. Are you kidding me. We moved to another table & over time it got better. No discount off the tab. Food was expensive, not great & the place was hot & dirty. I would not return. Go somewhere else, there are other nice restaurants on US41

“Very expensive for average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

This restaurant is lucky to have an incredible location on the canal. Be careful, if they offer water, it is not free!!! $5.85 per bottle. All we had was water to drink and it cost us $18! The food was acceptable but we've had much better elsewhere at a better price. Service was ordinary. Spanish server we had difficulty understanding, had a very strong accent. Didn't seem to care much either. Probably because the 18% gratuity is already included on the check. Strangely enough, after reading the other comments, I find that they serve bread... we never had any. The only positive thing was the atmosphere. We were seated outside and the temperature was perfect. Would not return though.
