“Very good FroYo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

I'm from the Midwest and we seem to have a lot of FroYo places popping up. This was my first trip to this place and while it's not as good as Pink Berry or Tutti Fruity, it was very good. They don't offer as many toppings as other places I have been but the orange sherbet & cheesecake yogurt was great.

“Sa-Weet Place to Eat Frozen Yogurt!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

After seeing Menchies featured on Undercover Boss (a great show where the undercover boss was extremely generous), I went online and was surprised to find out we had a Menchies on Pine Island Road in the Coral Walk mall, the one with a SuperTarget. It's near Panera Bread and Zoom Tan, but is kind of obscured by the huge mattress store right next to it. We're in that area shopping every week and had no idea it was there. The store is clean and brightly lit. There is outside seating. They open at noon until late, so it's a great place to get a quick lunch, a light mid-afternoon snack or a healthy after dinner dessert.

There was an overwhelming variety of delicious flavors to choose from, such as their new awesome cinnabun flavor. They had a honey graham, chocolate, cheesecake and much more. There were sorbet flavors (pomegranate blueberry and orange, among others). Two flavors had no added sugar, such as the strawberry banana. The flavors are paired up, so you can also get a blend of two flavors! How cool is that? If you can't decide, no worries: it's all good!

When we told the friendly woman working there that this was our first visit, she was happy to explain to us how it works. First, you take a little paper cup and sample what you're interested in getting. There is no limit on how many samples you can take. Then you grab a cup and fill it with whatever flavors you want and as much as you want. You proceed to the other sections (a huge array of toppings such as coconut, candy bits, sprinkles) and/or the other section that had fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries), baked mochi (being from Hawaii, we were VERY surprised and happy to eat mochi again), whipped cream, etc. And if you're really feeling adventurous, you can then top it all with the sauce of your choice (chocolate, peanut butter and more).

If it sounds like a fun, build-your-own sundae kind of place, you're right. The frozen yogurt is every bit as yummy as soft serve ice cream, and the toppings are all fresh and tasty. We saw parents coming in with their kids, who went nuts over being able to choose and make their own personalized dessert. It's been a long time since we were kids, but we also had a lot of fun making our yogurt sundaes.

My only trepidation was the price. Surely all this quality food would be pricey? I had filled my cut about 3/4's full of yogurt with a small amount of fresh fruit (the weight was about 10.8 oz) and hubby's cup was half full with toppings and sauce (about 8.2 oz). They charge 49 cents per ounce, and then add sales tax, so the total bill was under $10. We were pleasantly surprised. The woman let us try a waffle bowl hot off the presses (they bake them fresh), and it was so wonderful we vowed to get the waffle bowl ($1 extra) the next time we go. It tastes as good as it smells. We will definitely be back!

“Delicious wrap up to Halloween!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

We decided to go have a Halloween treat @ Menchies (our 1st ever experience, Cape Coral Pkwy location). Atmosphere was so colorful and inviting, my 11 year old's eyes lit up with excitement. We were greeted by the cutest young girl who was super friendly and told us how it works. We filled our yogurt cups and loaded up with yummy toppings. I must say, having fresh fruit was a bonus and delicious! Spent a little more than what we typically would spend for Ice Cream or Yogurt, but have to admit, it was so darn good and atmosphere was clean and great - how could you argue?
Had a fabulous 1st visit and look forward to many more!

“Yes, they are finally on Trip Advisor!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I am so glad Menchies is on Trip Advisor. Now everyone will hear how wonderful this place is. Our family loves Menchies because it is self-service. You pay what it weighs.

They have a lot of flavors and toppings to choose from so you really get to customize your creation. You must get their menchie rewards card. Seriously! It does reward you as a customer.

We love Menchies!
