Description: If you are looking for fine dining and a great atmosphere in Cape Coral look no further than Brew Babies Garden Bistro. Tucked away on quiet Lafayette street in downtown Cape Coral, Brew Babies Garden Bistro is easy to miss but well worth looking for. This hidden gem has become one of the Cape's best restaurants.Upon entering the garden courtyard you find yourself surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The bistro tables with white linens and the sound of the water from a fountain in the center of an open patio immediately makes you feel at home. If the weather is not ideal you can also chose to sit at one of the two buildings on each side of the courtyard in which the space is broken into small and cozy areas. The menu changes seasonally offering heartier dishes like the delicious New York strip steak while in the summer there are more seafood options. Originally conceived as a coffee shop by restaurateur couple Wayne and Valerie Elam Brew Babies has evolved and grown becoming not only one of the best restaurants in Cape Coral but also a leading jazz venue in Southwest Florida.

“A Gem in Cape Coral”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

Step away from the beach bars and crab shacks for a very enjoyable experience at this trendy, beautiful restaurant. On a warm night, seated outside in the garden, you could be dining at an upscale eatery in Aruba or any of the islands. We had a table toward the rear, which was a plus as the music, though welcomed, was a bit loud toward the front of the dining area. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was served hot. My wife had the caprese skewers as an appetizer, an interesting twist on the traditional, and declared them delicious. I had the cold gazpacho which was also very good while our friends enjoyed the lobster bisque. Entrees were flavorful with adequate portions. My wife's chicken marsala was tender and flavorful. My salmon rockefeller was very good , cooked perfectly, although a bit oversauced, as was the grouper special that our friend had. The fish seemed fresh, so I would have preferred to have the flavor of the fish more prominent, rather than hidden underneath a tidal wave of sauce. Sometimes a simpler preparation is best.
Overall, this is a great dining option while in Cape Coral.

“Fantastic, upscale, with fabulous ambiance !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014 via mobile

One of the most pleasurable places I have visited.

This lovely, unique Restaurant with wonderfully presented and tasty food is a must visit In Cape Coral.

We sat outside in the garden, even though a cold night, were warmed with the heaters and excellent service.
I would most definitely visit again.

“Best of The Cape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

We have dined in any restaurants around Southwest Florida and continually return to Brew Babies for lunch/dinner. The staff is personable and courteous, the food is always wonderful and the nightly specials are something we look forward to trying. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or the start of a girls night out. Don't let less than perfect weather keep you from going they have inside seating that still has charm. Jazz nights are the perfect date night. Call for reservations though, the small bar area fill quickly and you don't want to stand on the street for an hour.

“One of Cape Corals Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

This place is always a good choice to go when you want to have a dinner that you KNOW will be good. Ive never had anything bad here. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. I dont mind paying more for a dinner that is quality. I really like the outdoor seating, but the inside seating is charming too. Inside feels and looks like someones tastefully decorated home. Comfortable, quiet and romantic. I will say though that its not really kid friendly. Meaning that you're not going to get crayons or a special menu for them. However, my daughter is 7, and she got pasta that she really loved.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

Fantastic food. A bit pricey, but great for a special occasion. I loved the kitschy, eclectic decor. The waitress was helpful and just attentive enough. The three of us chose to share two orders of the same dish which wasn't a problem. Servings were large and with a salad, the amount was just right! Make a reservation during the busy season for for lunch.
