This place is cute, but we were expecting so much more. Being in the food service industry, we knew the day and time we chose to dine might be sketchy, but it was pretty much our only option. Our waiter was alright, attentive and brought wine samples for us when we were unsure which we'd prefer. Our scallop starter was decent; the scallops were overcooked for our liking, but the sauce was delicious. Our salad never arrived, which I would have mentioned to them.. I thought it would come before the entrees but it didn't. It wasn't on the bill so I guess he just forgot it. We both got the duck, and it was mediocre. I have been trying to find anywhere in the area that even serves it and I thought I finally found it.. But no. It wasn't cooked properly. If it was my first time eating duck I would not ever try it again. The creme brûlée for dessert was nice.. Or maybe it was all the wine in me ;) We'll be back, despite all of my negative comments. The atmosphere is worth it.. and we want to try other dinner options.
