“If Southwest Florida is Paradise, this is Heaven!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2011

We live in Cape Coral year round and probably would not have booked a stay at The Resort at Marina Village had we not seen the Groupon offer. Now, we cannot wait to come back. We stayed two nights, and wish we had scheduled six. The view is spectacular. The service is impeccable. The rooms are unbelievable. If you want luxury this resort oozes luxury from the landscaping, to the pools, to the staff, and right up to the top-of-the-line appliances in the suites, The shampoo, soap, showers, and soft water alone are probably enticing enough to bring us back, but it's the little things that add up too like ice-in-the-door, a blender, a sharp set of knives, and high speed internet. I won't try to name it all, but it's all here. If Southwest Florida is paradise - this is heaven Thank you for the pampering. Obviously, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We'll be back next time we need to just relax, and forget our troubles.

Room Tip: Request a room facing the river and as high as you can get for a incredible view.

Even at the prices, it really worth it. In spite of its overall location more or less in the middle of suburban sprawl, the specific location is great. Right on the river. We stayed for a week on the 11th floor with a river view and has an expansive view over the coastline and the river itself, where we saw stingrays every day, a couple of dolphins and some manatees.
Facilities are also top notch, just as nice as the pictures indicate - for once. I am usually very keen to get out of the hotel and go places, but this was one where we all just wanted to hang out.
So whatever you're doing in Cape Coral or if you just need a nice place to stay in the area, it is highly recommended.

We stayed here for a whole week with our three grown children and had a wonderful time. Marker 92 Restaurant was excellent, we requested Rick to be our waiter every time after he was our server the first night. He does an excellent job! After two deep sea fishing trips the restaurant cooked up our catch of the day and only charged us $15 to cook it along with our side dishes. Loved the flatbread pizza's at the bar too, they are only $5 during happy hour. Had a great time visiting with bartender's Brett and Maureen!! In fact all of the staff was very pleasant and always greeted us as we entered the lobby. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay, the view is gorgeous.

My husband and I just returned today from this resort and we had a wonderful time here. The resort itself is beautiful, rooms are gorgeous, pool is fantastic and the restaurants and outside bar were very good as well. The Tarpon Point Marina is right there and they have some beautiful boats docked there. We took a nice walk all around it one night, the views are great too. Everyone that was working were all so friendly and very helpful with directions and any problems you might have. I have to say we will be back for sure, hopefully sooner than later. I would love to see this place lit up for Christmas. I miss it already!

Our family plus 20 other families stayed at this resort. We were in a inline hockey tourney in Fort Meyers. The drive to the rink everyday was a little long but was so worth it by staying at this resort! The grounds, lobby , pool, reataurants were all amazing! The rooms were very spacious and have absolutely everything you could need. We never had problems getting pool chairs no matter what time we arrived. The marker 92 reataurant was so good we ate there for dinner 7 nights in a row. The seafood and the menu in general was very fresh and tasty! Everynight we requested to be in Rick's section. His knowledge of the food and place in general was top notch! The bartender Michael made the best lemon drop martinis. Just saying!!! Jason and Maria at the pool deck bar and restaurant were great aswell! Actually we didnt come across any staff who wasnt friendly. If you are looking to relax and really not to have to leave the resort, this is the place for you! If we ever go back to that side of Florida we would definately stay there again!

The Resort at Marina Village is just beautiful - it's hard to believe the price for the wonderful accomadations you have. Everything is brand new, terrific views, top shelf everything - perfect place to stay when you want to be close to Captiva & Sanibel but closer to a little more action. Restaurant is yummy - Sunday buffet is awesome!

Room Tip: Ask for a marina view!

Beautiful resort! A little hard to find, so take your GPS. First class front desk and all services in general. Had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and fantastic brunch on Sunday. The pool area is off the restaurant and there is wait service there.

You have to drive a bit for sightseeing and activities but the views are just beautiful and there is plenty to do north and south of the area.

This is a very large gated resort with free self-parking. Valet is available. There is a nice deli in the shops where we picked up fresh bagels and rolls. The kitchen is large enough and well-stocked.

We had a truly relaxing long weekend. Will surely return.

Room Tip: Rooms are comfortable and well-furnished.
