“Sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Only beach albeit very small in Cape Coral. Went at sunset and to our amazement two pods of Dolphins came by. Small beachy food and beverage stand also serves alcohol.

“Ok... Not a destination”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

The Yacht club has a nice beach (a little crowded), and a fishing pier. There's a small snack bar and a pool where you can pay to swim. A lot of local people like this place, but I don't see it as a tourist destination.

“Free parking!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

The beach is free but don't go here if you are looking for the famous Florida shells because there aren't any. The beach is groomed in the morning. There is nice sand and picnic tables as well. You may also visit the food bar or pier. It is quite a small beach so get there early for best spot of sand.

“Lovely community feel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We stayed in a lovley villa rental in Cape Coral so on a tour of the area we found the beach. Americans seem to be rushing here there and everywhere so this was a refreshing find, a lovely sense of community!
Parking was free and the beach was very clean. We were worried about the strange colour of the water but have been told that this area is where the sea water meets the fresh water of the many canals in the area. There is a pier that you can take a stroll on although it is a popular fishing spot. There is a bar to enjoy a quiet drink on the deck while watching the sun go down.
We visited on the first wednesday of the month, apparantly this is a popular time as the locals come together to promote community groups and to sell homemade crafts as well as sell tupperware and postboxes!
Well worth a visit for some chill time

“very scenic. nice little beach in cape coral! very friendly!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Free wifi on the patio. nice pier which at certain times of the year you can fish off of. Avoid the stringray shuffle by going oct - april, careful of the stringrays May - Sept. free parking. nice little family beach where saltwater meets fresh making for a distinct colour but clean beach. they also hold little events/sales in the community room.
