I stayed one night at the Radisson Resort in Cape Canaveral since my family and I were going on a Disney Cruise the next day. We had flown into MCO earlier on Friday, rented a car, and drove down to the Radisson.

Overall the stay was fine. The hotel's pool is very nice with a waterfall, but it does lack a slide. There was live entertainment the night we stayed, and check-in was a breeze.

The main problems we encountered were with the sleep number bed and the shuttle to the port on the morning we left. One of the beds would not operate at all, so it was permanently at the hardest setting. There were also rust areas in the bathroom fixtures.

The next morning we utilized the Radisson's free shuttle to the port. The free shuttle was one of the main reasons we stayed at this hotel, even though there was a Country Suites and a Marriott Residence Inn just up the street. The shuttle was late, and so we were not able to explore the Disney Cruise Line terminal like we had planned.

All in all the hotel lived up to my expectations. We only paid $100 for the night, so a few problems and a lack of a free breakfast the next morning were not that big of a deal (there is a McDonalds directly across the street).

We chose this hotel for it's location and it's cruise parking program. It has a great pool that my grand daughter age 6 loved. They had entertainment at the poolside restaurant which we enjoyed while watching our grand daughter swim. The rooms were a little larger than standard hotel rooms, had regular amenities and sleep number beds. Check in and check out was quick. There is a great casual dining Italian restaurant right next door where we enjoyed a yummy dinner. The hotel itself has an upscale restaurant and a casual restaurant at the pool. The hotel is only 2 miles to the Cocoa Beach Pier. We visited the beach the morning of the cruise. The transfer service got us quickly to the port at the time we selected and they were waiting for us at the ship upon our return. No stress and No wait. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing night before or after their cruise.

This was my second stay at the resort. The pool is fabulous and awesome for the kids. The grounds around it are very tropical with a koi pond, waterfalls and flowers. There is also an outdoor bar at the pool and a hot tub! We got a two room suite each time we stayed. The seperate living room makes it great for families. I am a fitness competitor and have to bring my meals with me where I go. The dining room table, frigerator, microwave and kitchen area made this a breeze. The fitness center needs to add some free weights. There is not much you can do on the "home gym" they have but there are several options for cardio. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They are doing some renovating, but that did not interfere with our stay or enjoyment of the pool. I will return!!!

We were boarding a cruise ship on Easter Sunday, so we flew into Orlando the day before.

We stayed here because we got a good internet rate and they had a free shuttle to the Disney Cruise ship we were boarding the next day. They also had a place nearby with free parking for our rental car while we were cruising.

The rooms were decent with the lower levels having exterior doors directly to the parking lot. The bathrooms were clean a pretty good budget room with two double beds.

The pool was great! Our teen kids liked it because it was big enough, and also had a hot tub and tiki bar nearby.

The staff was friendly, and even though there was a big wedding when we were there, they handled everything well. The guy in the giftshop was very friendly.

Also they had a very fancy breakfast if you were inclined to pay the price. See if you can get breakfast included in your room, by looking at it, it could be worth $15 per person at least!
