“Wow, that's a space shuttle!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

There is no way to get to see everything here in one day! We did the bus tour, shuttle Atlantis and an astronaut talk.
The bus tour may vary from time to time, the couple that we were with lives in the area and said they have never gotten as close to things as we did on our tour, that said, our tour guide/driver mumbled a bit so I think I missed some of the information.
My favorite part of the whole day was seeing shuttle Atlantis. It is displayed beautifully. I felt that I was very close to it and could see it well. A replica of the Hubble telescope is also in this area. There are enough information stations to learn about the shuttle, but also space to just look at it.
The astronaut talk was wonderful! The astronaut gave a short talk and then answered some questions. You could also get a picture with him afterward.
I did peek at the older exhibits and it looks like they have really been kept up to date.

“great experience but would not recommend the astronaut lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

This was a really neat experience! They take you out to the launch pads and everything. We had lunch with the astronaut- this is a banquet style lunch and the astronaut speaks and you have a chance to ask him questions- not worth the extra money in my opinion because they also have astronauts there and you can ask them questions at that time. The guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. The gift shops are pretty reasonable $20 for a sweatshirt etc. This is an all day thing.

“Must make this trip if you are in Florida!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

Atlantis is on display so dont miss it. You can see it real close in there new exhibit. Drive from Orlando is not bad at all, about 45 min. Though i hated to pay almost 9 bucks in toll for round trip. I havent paid so much being in boston area. Trip to Kennedy space center is must for all ages
