I couldn't believe the low quality service we recieved when we ate lunch there today. The gentleman who appeared to either own, or at least run the restaurant was more interested in the international soccer game being played on tv than on whether or not our server had disappeared for half an hour. The food was mediocre; only if you enjoy a 9 dollar reuben or 12 dollar fish and chips, and we never saw our server until it was time to pay. These people were appauling; and i've seen some bad service in my 4 years I myself have been in the restaurant business.

Had lunch here when we arrived on island. It was very busy as 5th July but they coped well. The menu was good as was the food. It would have been nice to eat here at sunset if we had had more time. Too many good restaurants to choose from on AMI

The seafood omelet was pretty tasty. The omelet with ham, sausage, bacon was also good. About what to expect in value for on the beach, literally, breakfast. We would go again. Service was ok, not great, but that seemed to be the norm for Anna Maria, and we just expect beverage refills, not being needy. This place is just a few hundred yards from the Beach House and the outside had a lot of flies also. It seems to be just the area, not the restaurant.

Not only did we enjoy eating here, but it was close enough that we could ride our bikes there, hence the numerous visits we made. We only ate inside once, and it was not nearly the pleasant experience as eating outside on the edge of the ocean. After that, we waited for a table outside no matter how long it took. The service varied...sometimes it was good and sometimes just okay, but it was never bad. I had fish and chips and it was fair...wouldn't really recommend it. DH had a Boar's Head turkey sandwich that he said was delish. Another time I had a blackened grouper salad, which was great. DH had a rueben sandwich that was good, but not as good as the turkey sandwich. Another time I had tuna salad and hubbie had chicken strips. Both were great. We ate breakfast there twice. I had the spinach-feta omelet. I have no hesitation in saying it was the best omelet I have ever eaten. So good, in fact, that we went back the next day so I could have it again. It was not as good as the morning before, but still quite good. Husband had the on-the-beach omelet one morning that he said was excellent. The other morning was scrambled eggs that he said were good. Over all, the food was good, and the atmosphere and view outside make this a restaurant that we highly recommend.
