“Worth return visits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

Every year for the past 6-7 years, we have had our annual company beach weekend at Bridgewalk. We take over pretty much every room in the place. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are beautiful and well kept up. Everyone room in the place has a screened porch area. It's located across from the beach but is a very short walk. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, bars, etc within walking distance so you never have to drive once you get there and that is definitely a plus. We look forward to this yearly trip and can't wait for next year's!

Room Tip: If you are traveling with your family or another couple, I recommend the townhouse. There are two g...

I know this is late but better late than never :) I was married on Bradenton Beach in July 2009. We planned my destination wedding with the staff at BridgeWalk and The Sun House Restaurant where we had our reception. It was great having everything all in one site. Most of our guests stayed at Bridge Walk and all of the rooms were spacious and great! The thing that impressed me most was how helpful and accomodating the staff was, especially Barbara. When I needed something for the wedding or my guests, she helped to make sure it happened. I loved everything about our wedding and we returned a year later for our anniversary. They were just as gracious and helpful as before. I can not reccomend a hotel more. I love AMI and I won't ever stay anywhere else.

The title says it all! We are Floridians coming from just a few hours away, but love Anna Maria Island. We searched extensively for a location that had NIGHTLY rentals and it was hard. We were going to stay at the Sea Pirate 6 since it stated they have nightly rentals, but when I called the owner he seemed not interested since we were just staying one night. We ended up booking the Bridgewalk inn for our anniversary. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, when we entered our room it had been set up with rose petals and candles for a romantic experience! The hotel room was VERY clean, Very spacious and a full kitchen which will save you lots if you make your own food. It is right across the street from beautiful beach. It is at a very convenient location to shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc. I did not have any complaints at all about the "sound" from the bar on the corner. Definitely recommend staying here. It is worth the money.

We decided at the last moment to get together my Sis and her daughters. It was the week-end after July 4th. Sherry/Kathy worked hard to make it happen. The room was great, the help there couldn't have been more friendly. We were on top floor by the post office and didn't hear any noise from there even on Monday morning. Will go back again for sure. Location was great for shopping and eating. Loved it! Great 64th Birthday.

Room Tip: The Royal Palm building has an elevator. Rooms start on second floor.

I brought my wife to the area for our one year anniversary. From calling to confirm our reservation to checking out, everything was great. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. The room we booked originally was not available that weekend unexpectedly, so we were upgraded into a suite instead. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The screened in porches were nice as well.
There are at least 5 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We ate at 3 of them, and each was excellent! The beach is a short walk across the street. The only drawback is that there are a couple bars close by the hotel that have live music just about every night. It can get a little noisy, but it seems to calm down by around 10pm.
I would definitely stay here again. We had a great time!

Four of us ladies went to Bradenton for a bowling tourn. Wanted a fun, nice relaxing weekend. Got it and more! What a beautiful place to stay. Not right on the beach but right across the street. Fantastic staff. Cathy @ the desk and the fri. night and sat. night parking lot attendant(sorry I forgot your name a little alcohol was involved) were amazing!!!!! They both were super nice. The two story suite was super clean and very spacious. Especially for 4 women. Already planning our next trip there!!!!!

I Stayed at the Bridgewalk resort from April 13 to April 19, 2012. Our Aparto was in the Royal Palm Building. Very clean. The room amenities were great. I had doubts about the pull down bed but those doubts were... laid to rest. Super comfortable bed. Soft but firm. Great to come back from the beach and have a full fridge and not have to worry about where you're getting your next meal. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, pitchers and the like. Lots of space in the room for two normal sized adults. Sitting area and chairs at the bar. Jacuzzi was nice. Shower is big enough for two. (Too much info?) The screened veranda was nice to sit on and just chill. Parking was not an issue for me but parking is at a premium around dinnertime. Plan accordingly. The drunks on Bridge street late at night can get loud. I was awaken by screaming drunks on two different nights and we were there on a slow week. Also the complimentary breakfast had no orange juice. Hello! Florida! No orange juice? Oh! and bring a blanket if you can. The beach chairs are meh.

Room Tip: Great location if you don't feel like driving while you're on vacation relaxing. Plenty of...
