We were very happy with choosing this hotel choice. Right on the beach, well groomed beach, clean hotel and heated pool perfect for night time swimming. We were able to bring our own personal jet skis and ride them right in front of the hotel. We had perfect sun set and dolphin views. We will be back!

This was a great long weekend away! The interior is a little 80's Florida and there were some indifferent maintenance touches, but it was clean and serviceable. You don't stay here for the poshness of the room, however, It's the view! I haven't readily napped in years, but the sound of the surf had me napping in less than an hour after arrival. The cleaning fee was irritating - would have been better to just increase the daily rate and there's no way I'm leaving you a tip in the provided tip envelope if I already have a cleaning fee on top of it (and we didn't get any cleaning service as we weren't there long enough), there was no hair dryer, the bathroom is extremely small. In spite of the relatively minor annoyances, we didn't want to leave!

Room Tip: Must get gulf side.

We were extremely happy with our stay. Very clean, beautiful, friendly staff, Kitchen was supplied with everything, enough to feel at home. Pool is heated, grills and lounge area was also a plus. We would definately stay there again. We loved it. Watching the sun rise and set from our unit was memorable. Restaurants and other shopping centers near by. I don't think I can fit everything we enjoyed. It is a beautiful place to stay and comfortable place/area to enjoy.

Room Tip: Ocean view is amazing..

Initial impressions weren't good. The greeting was rude (had to wait ages for the woman to get off her private phone call) and there was a cheeky $50 final clean fee - i thought that was the idea of staying in a hotel to have someone clean after you left?!

We were met in the room by a huge cockroach in the middle of the lounge - never a fun job to get rid of them - apparently you haveto pay more than $50 to get them cleaned as well.

The door at the rear of the property had a broken lock. We reported it straigt away (passports, money, car keys etc are quite valuable) to which the woman at the front desk said 'dont worry about it'! My choice to worry, her job to ensure our property is secure to our satisfaction... I dont think locking doors are too much to ask for!

The room (106) could do with some seious updating - flat screen tv's and wooden floor doesnt mask a lack of door handles on most cupboards, seriously grubby net curtains and doors that dont close or lock.

The location of this hotel is its saving grace, right on the beach in a very peaceful location. Friendlier service would have helped.

My husband and I are just leaving today and loved it here. The covered patio is great, you can walk right onto the beach from the patio, drag out a lounge chair to the waters edge and relax! Very quiet, secluded and we saw dolphins playing almost every morning and evening. We also caught a bunch of lady fish and small jacks just fishing from the beach in the early mornings and late evenings. If you love to fish and interested in charters, you cannot go wrong with Capt. Brady with BassNBay charters. We did a 4 hr charter in the evening for red fish and caught 17 in one spot, along with a few snook, sea trout and a sting ray!! He is an awesome captain and there was ALWAYS a line in the water!! We also did a charter with Capt Wayne of Wolfmouthcharter charters a little offshore and had a blast. We caught grouper, flounder, mackeral, shark, and more!!

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with a gulf view room

We stayed at the Dream Inn in Anna Maria Island last year when my stepdaughter came for a visit. Our room was beautiful, spacious and impeccably clean. So nice to walk out of our room and get right in the pool or a few feet from the beach. Gorgeous beach within a few feet. My husband and I are now planning on a return trip to Dream Inn next month. Carolyn was so helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed our visit and will see you again next month!

This is our 6th summer returning to Anna Maria Island but our first at the Dream Inn.

The Dream Inn is a small property, about 20 rooms or so--which for us is perfect. It is right on the Gulf which is a HUGE plus. If you've been to this area before you know many of the properties are across the street from the beach. It has a decent sized pool and a nice out door kitchen with grills that you can use. The Inn also provides chairs and lounges that you can take to the beach.

We stayed in room 106. It has 2 king sized beds, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, oven and a 2 burner stove. It also had 2 LCD tvs w/ dvr. It looks onto the beautiful Gulf waters. The room was very roomy. It was nice because we (parents & teenager) were stll able to have our own space but still in the same room.

The only "cons" I found were is the a/c are the older hotel types. They are a bit loud and don't cool off as well as newer units. Our unit in the bedroom kept turning off on our last night. I think that the property should consider Installing ceiling fans to help circulate the air. We actually ended up going to Walgreens to get a fan.

Overall we had a great time! Our unit was very clean and was perfect for our family!
