“Family run and very friendly place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2015

We stayed at Island Time Inn between Xmas and New year's this year. Don't let first impressions fool you, as I was not sure when our limo first stopped on Bridge St, however we were not disappointed as the inside of the building is lovely and clean, with very comfortable beds, a cute kitchen, and all of the amenities. The two of us stayed in room # 5 which walks out to a quiet garden courtyard, and our daughter and her family rented room # 6 which has 2 bedrooms and a pull out, sleeping 6 comfortably. It was an excellent choice for the family as the location is right across the street from the beach, the bistro restaurant, and coffee shops right across the street, a convenience store around the corner, and the fishing pier for the boys was a short walk away. Anna Maria Island has a trolley service that will take you all along the Island, so a car was not necessary. Publix groceries and a pharmacy are a short trolley ride away, as well as many other beach restaurants and souvenier stores close by. Kristie and Cindy were very hospitable, and always with a smile. Kristie even providing me with a roaster pan so I could cook us a Xmas turkey dinner! I would recommend for families, Island Time is in a busy area, but lots to see and do in the area, with a great beach for swimming walking or relaxing a few steps away.

Room Tip: I understand wifi is usually available but not while we were there. The wifi was sketchy however acr...

Our family enjoyed a beautiful week on Bradenton Beach. We rented room #7 and #5. The accommodations did not disappoint. The rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable for both families. Chrissy was available to assist with our needs and readily brought us more towels, and sheets as we needed them. The location is right across the street from the beach and this allowed us to bring the grand kids back and forth to the room from the beach as needed. The hotel even had beach chairs, and beach toys for the kids to use during our stay. I will be back for another stay!!

This small lodging has a few rooms for pets with a pet upcharge. I was able to stay in room #5 with my mostly well mannered pug. I loved all the extra pillows, shampoo and MORE PILLOWS. The color scheme was restful and the design used space. There was a huge closet and chest of drawers good for long stays. The bed was awesome. The pug had a rolling cushion that just happened to be like one she had at home, so she was way very happy. There's many local restaurants that are dog friendly. The Monkey Taxi will also pick you and your dog up for tips and take you to dog friendly places. You can park you car and forget about it! There's a large kitchen and fridge so that you can take the trolley easily to the local Publix and buy provisions if fresh seafood and tasty Bridge Street food isn't your thing! The beach is amazing and deeper in this section than the end of the island, so it great for swimming and snorkeling. The beach can be as private as you want as you have the option of walking in both directions. All in all, a really fantastic person with professional, fun and approachable staff.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at the Island Time Inn and loved it! Cindy and Krissy were absolutely the most wonderful hosts and did everything and anything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. It's a fabulous location! It is right across from a restaurant/bar which can get a little noisy at night, but only Halloween night got especially loud and went on until late (we are not night owls), the other nights it was a total bonus to have the bar across the street with live music; we sat at the table just outside our room drinking a glass of wine or a beer and enjoying it for free! The beach is right across the street, and all the shopping of Bridge Street is right outside your door. We had only one brief negative and it really had nothing to do with the Island Time. For two nights we had the most horrid group of women staying above us. They seemed to never sleep and were constantly making more noise than seemed humanly possible; dragging furniture, stomping around, and throwing things on the floor. About the time we had decided we would have to talk to Cindy or Krissy about it, we saw the women leaving with their suitcases, and sent up a hallelujah! Normal people moved in above us the same night and we barely heard a peep. So, unless you have a group of jackhammer operators above you that work around the clock, I doubt you would have an issue with noise, as we never had a problem before or after those women. I am also certain that had we needed to bring it to the attention of Cindy or Krissy, they would have made accommodations to make things right. Thankfully, that wasn't necessary. We loved the Island Time Inn and should we return to Bradenton Beach we most definitely will stay at there again!

Room Tip: Room 5's location is likely the quietest as it is on the backside of the Inn (farthest from the...

We stayed for two nights for a quick trip. This was our first time staying at Island Time Inn, but we frequently vacation on Anna Maria Island. We were very happy with the rooms, and Cindy and her daughter were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will tell everyone we know about this property as it is probably the best BANG FOR YOUR BUCK with regards to proximity to the beach. Rooms were updated with modern furnishings (new TV's/beds/appliances), and this property is close to so many things...restaurants, beach, bay, and, more importantly, Joe's Ice Cream shop!

We are from the Tampa area and spent 2 nights at the Island Time Inn, for our 11th wedding anniversary. Since it was an older facility, I asked to view the rooms prior to booking (I was on the island working, so that was easy). I was immediately impressed with the updated furnishings and the well maintained rooms and common areas. After reviewing the rates for many hotels (on St Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach) and other motels and resorts on Anna Maria, I recognized the excellent value. The rooms (#5, 6 and 7) were more like suites or apartments, with full kitchens, dining and living room areas. We stayed the first night in room #5 (1st floor), and enjoyed it so much that we switched to rooms #6&7 (entire top floor), and had our family join us for the 2nd night. The weather was bad initially, so the location on Bridge St. was nice for shopping/dining, without having to drive anywhere. When the weather cleared, the beach was beautiful and not crowded. The courtyard was private, with a cozy tropical feel and the grill was ready to use, with utensils already at hand. The outdoor shower (in the courtyard) was a welcome touch, since there were no public showers on this area of the beach. Check-in and out couldn't have been easier. Cindy and Krissy were very accommodating and made the experience memorable. We will be back!

Room Tip: Room #5 is perfect for a quiet, couples romantic getaway. It is on the first floor and away from the...
