I've been to several locations but this was my first time at the Boynton Beach one. We were seated right away and our server came over in record time to take our drink and appetizer order. She answered some questions we had about certain types of fish and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
We placed our order and happily ate our Bang Bang Shrimp and awesome bread. Next was the corn and crab chowder which is out of this world. It is so thick and seasoned to perfection. Our server was so on point that we never had to ask for a drink refill, which earned her super kudos in my book.
The lobster roll was full of lobster meat and served on a toasted roll, I opted for the garlic mashed potatoes as my side instead of the chips. My husband ordered the Longfin Tilapia Imperial which is stuffed with shrimp, scallops and crab meat with a lemon caper butter. My husband had no idea what capers were so he asked the server. We all debated about it for a few minutes and had some good laughs. She returned about 3 minutes later telling us she asked the chef and they read the bottle in which they came in. Now THAT is a great server!
I can't say that about the manager. She was tall with brown hair and walked around with a scowl on her face the entire time we were there. She went to tables around us and introduced herself but never came to our table....maybe because she only speaks to people who look older. Our money is just as green as everyone else's at that restaurant.
Love their food and will definitely return! I just hope there is a more pleasant manager on duty...
