Some of these reviewers must be confused. I have always found this restaurant to have great service, good prices and a lot of fun. Their happy hour is outstanding with food and drink deals. This is a classy place that has prices like a local pub and where you are treated like a local. Plus it has an excellent fish market right in the building. I highly recommend this outstanding restaurant to all my friends with no regrets.
I have been coming to Bonita for years and have never experienced such rude service. I know you cannot please some people but this was a different story. I guess the staff thinks you have no other choice since there are not a lot of restaurants in this area.

The experience is not worth re-hashing ... consider yourself warned.
We go to the Sanibel/Ft. Myers area several times a year and we ALWAYS make a side trip to Rodes to pick up their Key Lime Pie. We now have friends placing orders with us before we leave to get them pie - it's really the best we've ever had! Very smooth and creamy and just the right amount of tartness, not too sweet. Have never eaten at the restaurant, but if the pie is any indication of the food, then I'm sure it's good.
