Rarely do we come across such a perfect beach. The drive through the upscale neighborhood is eye-opening. A short walk over the boardwalk brings you to a white sand beach with lots of shells. Even the red tide did not mar our enjoyment of the 5 1/2 hours we spent here. The restrooms were clean. Granted it was crowded, but by moving away from the boardwalk the crowds can be avoided. It is a great beach for shelling, birdwatching, swimming and soaking up the sun.
