Had a reservation for an out door table but seated indoors directly under AC vent. Asked to be moved and told "no" as all tables were reserved. (Guess our reservation didn't count.) When the waiter finally got to us, and our drinks arrived, they were not what we had ordered. Worse, he seemed unhappy with us over his mistake. Not sure if that's why he never came back to take our order but he wasn't seen anywhere in the dining room for quite a long time afterwards. Eventually another waitress came over and covered for him when she saw we were still waiting. The food was average at best, but then for them to assume everyone should leave an automatic 20% gratuity is unacceptable considering the service received. I understand that this policy is printed on the menu, however, I would then suggest they offer service that warrants the amount demanded. It has always been my understanding the the amount of the tip is determined on the service received. What incentive do these employees have to provide their customers with only the best of service if they are already guaranteed the automatic 20%??? As a result of all of the above, we will not return. There are far too many nice restaurants in Naples I'd rather freely give my 20% to.
