“take the kayak tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Quiet and out of the way. Very private beach there. Try the fruit smoothies. Educational nature talks and ranger escorted kayak tour through the mangroves-very peaceful.

“Good view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

This is a preserve so there are no buildings on the beach behind you. You can walk to Wiggins Pass. There are 3 sperate parking lots but the bath house is at parking lot #1. There is a small outhouse bathroom at #3 parking lot. There are nature walk paths at #3. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at #1.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is a beautiful beach, surrounded by a nature reserve. BUT there are very limited facilities, it's great for a walk, and great if you have your own beach furniture. However, when we visited, there was a notice displayed about "red tide" a sea algae. The result was the beach was littered by thousands of Dead Sea mullet, not a pretty sight!......

“Natural Contact”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Although the beaches around Bonita Springs are fine, if you are looking for a little more natural encounters, less crowded, less "beach noise" (umbrellas, people, food, etc) this is a great county park to go to. Loved the location.

“Great beach with natural setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

This park has an educational area and scheduled seminars. It has nice rest rooms and ramps for easy access. It has boardwalks to many of the beach accesses. The southern most areas are very natural with no buildings or "signs of civilization" to spoil the setting. You can even launch a kayak on the canal side of the park.
