My daughter was married on Ft Myers Beach and many guests stayed at the Hyatt. Landscaping was beautiful. Check in smooth. Rooms were well appointed. Suites were outstanding(Island & Bayview suites) . Food excellent. Spa excellent. Raptor golf couse well maintained-F&B there was perfect. Hotel has private shuttle launch to beach a pleasant and wildlife observing 15 minute boat ride. Pools were clean and varied, one with a slide another with waterfall. Kudos for outstanding service to Javier-one of the finest you will ever find at Tanglewood restaurant. Kudos to Will a manager and Craig a F&B manager who responded quickly and effectively to a service issue. Very low marks to a lady day manager from Boston, MA who in responding to me on my last day regarding a check out issue was very combative citing hotel 'policy', if they did it for me ,we'd have to do it for everyone and contradicted stated hotel information regarding when housekeeping left for the day. It's about SERVICE! The changing area for late checkout received low marks for lack of amenities other than soap & shampoo. No plastic bags for wet suits, no toiletries-whatsoever. These are issues because this hotel is 5 star, just some tweaking and training needed.

“Great hotel and resort”

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa

I Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on my way to Key West and it was well worth it.

The hotel arranged to pick me up via town car (my charge) and it was a quick 15 min drive from Ft. Myers AP. The hotel is about one mile off route 41at the end right on the point. Upon arrival I was greated by a very friendly staff who offered my a complimentry glass of Champagne and quickly got me off to my room.

I was on the top floor (18) with a view of inland Bonita Springs. The room was a standard king. The room was good size had the normal amenities. The room had a normal (old style) TV and not the flat screens that I have seen being introduced in other Hyatts. No mini bar, but an empty small fridge for to use on your own. Bathroom was OK, did not have shampoo or soap at check in, but was quickly given to me at request. The shower was a standard shower/tub combo. One dislike was the small shower head and which provided little water.

The hotel it self is huge. The decor is very "tommy bahama" like, and is decorated very nicely. Very large lobby, several shops offering resort ware, sundries, ect. They offer a 24 hour store that sells coffee, drinks, snack food. Nice when you need something in a hurry.

They have a few places to eat on property, a pool bar (offering standard sandwiches & wraps) A more formal restaurant that I ate at for dinner and breakfast. The food was good and priced normally for a hotel of this class. The bar was off the lobby and open till 1am.

The pool area is very large offering 3 pools (one with a water slide) and 2 hot tubs.

Overall I had a great time, the staff was great, friendly and worked very hard to tend to the guest needs.

One thing I will mention is that the hotel is secluded from local restaurants or shopping. While it is a quick drive, it is something I can't see people walking around. They have a shuttle, but not sure how that is used. I never left the property, but was fine with that as they have all that you need on site.

I stayed at the Hyatt Coconut Point for business for two nights and was very impressed all around. The facility is beautiful both inside and out and the staff -- from registration to doormen to room service delivery -- were helpful and extremely friendly. The food was very good, also -- much better than I expected. Room service meals were hot and promptly delivered, and the casual restaurant next to the family pool was very good, as well. My one minor complaint: on Sunday morning I called the front desk and requested that my room not be cleaned that day since I had arrived late the night before, and I had paperwork spread all over. I also put the privacy sign on my door. I went out for an hour and, despite my efforts, my room had been cleaned. A bit of a breakdown of communication on there part, but not enough to diminish my review.

Stayed for two nights on a conference. What an awesome property, perfectly manicured gardens, a wonderful pool, and access to the sister properties pool with a lazy river. Everyone we had contact with was friendly, and helpful. The room was very nice, and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here. Oh, its good for families, saw lots of them having a blast.

“Everything you want!”

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa

This hotel is just as fantastic second time around. The room had a king size bed a roll away for our 9 year old which was very comfortable for her and 3 beautiful balconys. We stayed on the regency floor with lounge access for the second time this year as we felt it was real value for money especially if you have children as they can pick and choose what they like, also the freshly baked cookies and real lemonade are a winner with the kids..(and the husband!) .The staff were very welcoming and more than happy to discuss any questions we had regarding restaraunts and places to visit. The 3 swimming pools were great and our 9 year old daughter loved the slide, hence we didnt see her for a long time!. There is a private island you can venture out to on a boat which is nice but do be aware of the ants as they bite!. We didnt use the restaurants in the hotel much as we had a great selection in the private lounge. We drove to a few restaraunts near the mall just to get out really!. Its easy to stay put at the hotel for days without realising. We were a little sad that the mosquitos were out in force so there was no sitting outside to enjoy the lovely grounds in the evening even if you had applied plenty of spray and cream!.
All in all we had a great holiday in this hotel and could not fault a thing. Hyatts never seem to fail!.
