I Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on my way to Key West and it was well worth it.
The hotel arranged to pick me up via town car (my charge) and it was a quick 15 min drive from Ft. Myers AP. The hotel is about one mile off route 41at the end right on the point. Upon arrival I was greated by a very friendly staff who offered my a complimentry glass of Champagne and quickly got me off to my room.
I was on the top floor (18) with a view of inland Bonita Springs. The room was a standard king. The room was good size had the normal amenities. The room had a normal (old style) TV and not the flat screens that I have seen being introduced in other Hyatts. No mini bar, but an empty small fridge for to use on your own. Bathroom was OK, did not have shampoo or soap at check in, but was quickly given to me at request. The shower was a standard shower/tub combo. One dislike was the small shower head and which provided little water.
The hotel it self is huge. The decor is very "tommy bahama" like, and is decorated very nicely. Very large lobby, several shops offering resort ware, sundries, ect. They offer a 24 hour store that sells coffee, drinks, snack food. Nice when you need something in a hurry.
They have a few places to eat on property, a pool bar (offering standard sandwiches & wraps) A more formal restaurant that I ate at for dinner and breakfast. The food was good and priced normally for a hotel of this class. The bar was off the lobby and open till 1am.
The pool area is very large offering 3 pools (one with a water slide) and 2 hot tubs.
Overall I had a great time, the staff was great, friendly and worked very hard to tend to the guest needs.
One thing I will mention is that the hotel is secluded from local restaurants or shopping. While it is a quick drive, it is something I can't see people walking around. They have a shuttle, but not sure how that is used. I never left the property, but was fine with that as they have all that you need on site.
