This was the second time I have stayed here. You know I just didn't think of reviewing it last time because it is kind of an under the radar experience; no "wow" factor, but simply excellent value for the money. Almost everyone is familiar with this chain, so I won't go into the details of the room. However, breakfast is included, and it is more than one might expect, as is the complimentary cocktail hour. We used no other amenities, so I can't comment on that, but there is free computer in the lobby. When the bill was slipped under our door there was a charge for a dinner that was not ours. When we brought it to the attention of the desk clerk he apologized, and immediately took care of it. This hotel does its chain proud.

and did not smell fresh upon entering. Lobby and hallways were fine. Staff tried really hard and for the most part was friendly. Wonderful Cocierge named Luis who graciously handled any problem. Location was excellent.

I usually love Embassy Suites, but this one was tired and dreary. The staff was okay, but not overly friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but lighting was poor--again very dark and dreary. Restaurant service was okay, but I had fish for dinner and lots of bones!! I couldn't continue eating it because lighting was poor and couldn't even see the bones. My server did comp part of the dinner. Too much work to eat it. Fitness center was nice, but didn't open until 6:00 am, too late for business traveler. As usual, free breakfast was okay, probably better to get the made-to-order omelettes vs. the runny buffet eggs. Standard free breakfast fare. Probably will try another hotel in the area next time.

I paid $141 per night at this hotel for 3 nights and in the end paid $471. My experience I consider average because I was expecting more from what is supposed to be a luxury hotel. There were military planes flying over this hotel at night that were VERY LOUD. I stayed for 3 nights and did not sleep well all 3 nights due to the planes. For the rate, I wasn't impressed with the hotel. The hotel is very old and there were flies and ants in my room, flies in the hallway and breakfast area. Breakfast and the food at the restaurant and the managers reception were the only good things at this hotel for the price paid, even though the liquor quality wasn't the best. There are a good amount of TV channels and the pool area is spacious, however, there was only one hot tub (inconveniently occupied by 2 unsupervised children). The bathroom toilet looked very "used and abuse" but wasn't dirty. The bathtub needed some maintenance but wasn't dirty. I really think this hotel needs to lower its rate, it's not worth the price.
