“A solid but not spectacular property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2012

My business travels took me to Boca last week, and, when possible, I have my travel arranger book me into a hampton. Although hidden a bit back from Yamato road, the hotel's name is displayed on a sign on the roadside that lists several other businesses in that turn-in. It is possible to miss the sign if you're looking for the typical Hampton Inn signage.

Check in (about 6:30pm on a Monday) was efficient; the person at the desk gave me thee basics and said he had upgraded my room. He also gave me at my request a bottle of water. Don't know if the upgrade was a result of my Hilton Gold status or something else... The lobby area like most Hamptons is pleasant with the breakfast area immediately ahead of the front door.

My ungraded roon was actually fairly small but had two windows due to the architecture of the building. It had the usual features of bed, desk, sitting chair, bureau and small fridge and microwave. bathroom was typical HI style (not a bad thing).

The room was quiet during the week I stayed and the amenities were again the usual HI amenities. Internet access was good but not particularly fast. Housekeeping did its job - no complaints.

The fact that there was no exercise room on site was a definite disadvantage; the pool was also rather small.

The hotel had a manager's reception week nights. The one time I tried it, they had chips and salsa, red and white wine in carafes (not bottles to figure out the source or type. The hot entries were minimalist - small chicken pieces in a wings-style sauce and pigs-in-a-blanket. The gesture was a plus, but I've encountered much more robust options at other Hamptons.

The breakfast was again what one expects at a Hampton. One real plus to my way of thinking was the availability of hardboiled eggs. They're often left off the menu in these types of breakfasts, and I find them more "real" thgan the prepackaged scrambled effs of omlettes.

All in all, a solid business and leisure destination at a reasonable price. I'm just not sure that I'll have any distinct impressions of this particular Hampton Inn in six weeks...

Stayed here on a quick weekend trip to visit family. I was not expecting much, since other area hotels were priced higher. I was pleasantly surprised to find a modern, clean facility with a lovely room overlooking a golf course. They also have a small, but beautiful pool area and a breakfast buffet with a nice selection. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights back in February, clean room, great service, terrific price and a location that was convenient to golf courses, shopping and great dining.
No gym so you have to go to a gym across the parking lot which is an added charge.
And the cookies were always a nice added touch.

This hotel sits just off the main road in quiet seclusion at the edge of an industrial park. Both during the week and on the weekend the facility was well staffed and peaceful during the day as well as at night. The front desk was friendly and accommodating with a quick smile and ofer to assist in any way.

Room Tip: Ask for second floor away from elevator

Easy drive to the beach and downtown Boca, and great starting poinht for a long marathon training run (start early -- it gets hot here). Yummy free breakfast and free Internet and parking. Comfortable bed, nicely sized room and adequate batrhroom. The water pressure could have been a little higher. It's in an office area, not a residential one, but there is a shiopping center across the street and a convenience store at the adjacent gas station. The hotel is set off the road, so I would suspect that all rooms are quiet. Nice pool area for swimming or hanging out. Super nice employees. Would stay there again in a second!

Room Tip: We always ask for a room away from the elevator and on the "quiet side" of the building. W...

I stayed here with my sister for two nights while visiting a friend. The beds were really comfy and the room and bathrooms were clean and well-stocked; there was a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was standard fare for a Hampton Inn, but certainly met our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. I thought the hotel might be too far out from where we were planning to spend most of our time, but we found it to be well-located and it was easy to get around. Hotels in the Boca area are pricey and I was on a three-week road trip, so I was trying to be frugal. Although I spent more than I normally spend on a hotel room, I thought it was a good value. I would definitely return if I were to come back to Boca Raton.
