I stayed at the Hilton Suites in Boca for business on a Wednesday in Jan. 2008.

I would definitely recommend against staying at this hotel unless you can get a deal on a room.

The Good:
The hotel is located just off of the Florida Turnpike & across the street from a Starbucks (if branded coffee is important to you.)

The Bad:
The hotel lobby and check in desk are old and could use significant renovation and freshening. Similarly my "suite" had old furniture, no flat screen TV and a musty smell. The room service menu was overpriced and had few smaller fare / healthier options. Moreover, for some reason they wouldn't let me order a beer from room service.

We stayed in this great Hilton for one night last week. We were not disappointed with the standard of the accomodation, the staff and the overall experience!!! The suite was nice and the facilities in the hotel were good - the pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast was included in the value for money rate and was a real feast, nothing was too much trouble. Centrally located to the main road work and within easy reach of many attractions. A car is a must though.

Overall, I am rating the hotel average. There is some good and some bad.

First of all, I got an excellent AAA rate, around 90$, on the hilton web site.

Hotel is quite beautiful and striking, nice lobby and atrium, in a nice corporate park setting.

Breakfast buffet was comparable to most sunday brunches (hot buffet items and made to order items available). Coffee was very good. There is also a 5:307:30 PM cocktail hour at the lobby bar offering free drinks but I didn't get a chance to check on it.

The suite was VERY small, with an incredibly small bathroom. The double beds are also really double beds, not really enough for two people. I don't see whyt hotel don't all offer double queens.

We reserved a Lake View room, but received a turnpike view room. Not noisy really, but most likely not as nice.

Were given ample shampoo, toothpaste/brushes and razors when requested.

Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Room ceiling showed some mold signs around the corners.

Whirlpool was cold and had some green mold around the rim. Pool area was littered with towles (at around 8 PM).

On two occassions I tried, the cofee in the lobby was either empty or cold.

Room was clean, no issues there.

Sofa bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable (to sit on) bed I have ever seen. Furniture and decor is definitely dated, compared with the rest of the hotel.

Overall, nice for the price and great breakfast. Beware the small room/beds if that is an issue.

We just returned from another stay at this special Hilton. Check-in was easy and the staff most accommodating. The complimentary iced tea on this very hot Sept day was a welcome touch. We always request a "lake view" to be sure we don't face the parking lot on the other side of the hotel. The hotel rooms are "suites" set up as a sitting/ sleeping areas (one with pull out couch) and a bedroom, each with their own TV's. The King size beds in the main room are second to none, super comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bed alone is reason enough to stay here. The hotel offers a complimentary happy hour each evening and a complimentary buffet breakfast which is really first class. There was an array of foods, eggs, bacon, muffins, cereals, fruits as well as a chef who makes omelet’s to order, french toast, pancakes, etc. The wait staff /servers were not very attentive, definitely room for improvement. The pool area is very nice as is the Jacuzzi. The location is excellent - just off the Turnpike and not far from I-95. We have family in Boca West which is just down the road. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel and will certainly stay there again.
