“Wedding party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Excellent! Wonderful time but pool needs some attention. More food availability for kids at night. We arrived at 8:45 PM and they were unable to accommodate children. Car service was excellent. Overall, an incredible resort where even the newspaper stand inquired if you were having a good vacation.

I was looking for a hotel that was nice and pet friendly. I was delighted when I learned that the Waldorf Astoria has an area of the hotel's ground for guests and their dogs. The place was clean and had enough space outside to walk the dog. I was pretty happy.

The Boca Raton Resort rarely dissapoints. I just had another great stay there in a Yacht Club room.

Because of HHonors' HUGE point devaluation, I am leaving their rewards program and decided to blow out my remaining points on a stay at the Boca Resort, which is my favorite Hilton owned property. I am so glad I did because this is an awesome place.

Judging by some of the other reviews on here, I think where you stay makes a HUGE difference at the Boca Resort. Although the Beach Club seems to be where the best reviews come from, I prefer the Yacht Club because when I go to a big resort like this, I tend to like to eat dinner at the restaurants and drink at the bars, and in my opinion the actual resort is better for this.

I had dinner at Lucca, which I would highly recommend to anyone who likes Italian food. And the Monkey Bar and the Wine Bar were two places I frequented a lot as well. Very interesting crowd but the 90s music was way too loud and tacky in the wine bar next to Lucca. Drove us right out ... Counting Crowes and Spin Doctors at 90 decibles are not my idea of a good vibe. The Monkey Bar is quiet and out of the way, which makes it nice.

We took the Mizner's Dream shuttle to and from the beach during the day which was a much better option than the shuttle bus. The bars and pool at the Beach side were closed for private parties one day which was a bit of a bummer ... and I've never encountered any hotel staff as rude as the beach chair staff. Another reason why I like the Resort side vs. the Beach Club side.

The staff here is wonderful! I am so bad with names but the girl who checked us in from Queens was amazing. A true professional. She gave us a no hassle early check in and made sure we had a nice room in the Yacht Club overlooking the Marina. The guy who helped us bring our bags to the room was also great ... he was from Long Island. He got us ice and put our bags in a good spot and was so friendly and enthusiastic. The waitors at Lucca and the Housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpful.

The Yacht Club rooms are awesome. You have a balcony that you can sit and look over the Marina and smoke a cigar on. The furnishings are top notch and right on par with a Waldorff Astoria Resort, right down the curtains above the headboard. The bathroom is so nice ... marble with dimming lights ... and a separate glass shower and tub. The water pressure in the shower is the BEST I have ever experienced and I took a 30 minute shower each day because it was like a spa!

The beds were amazingly comfortable, the room was spacious and the air conditioning worked great! There is plenty of closet space ... with two huge closets.

The valet parking is expensive, but what isn't in Boca? And they do charge a resort fee so keep that in mind. Its nice to walk around the grounds because you find all these amazing little nooks and crannies both inside and outside to explore. I love the trail that goes through the trees and plants outside of the Cloister.

If you are in the Boca area, this is a great place to stay and off season, the prices are really amazing for what you get. Sure, the Cloister Rooms and the Tower rooms might be a bit dated, but the Yacht Club is worth the extra money to upgrade. You won't be dissapointed.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the Yacht Club

This is a beautiful hotel, but the bell staff-valet is awful. I had the front door to the hotel slammed in my face. No one offers to carry your bags. In fact, they will watch you carry your own bag to your car and then stand there waiting for a tip.

Attended a wedding off property. Had several rooms for wedding guests. Had after party in lobby bar. Had a slip in marina also. Without exception the staff was superb. We have stayed several times and love the entire experience each time.
