I will preface this review by saying we were here for a business trip paid for by my husband's company. The hotel was also fully booked with people on this same trip so I can sympathize with the hotel staff being overworked. Anyway the location is great. We were in the cloustier part of the resort and the rooms were huge but a tad dated. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room is great shape. The reasort is huge and it is very easy to get lost. Some staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful others not so much. The only major complaint I have is that we got zero service while hanging out poolside one day. Everyone around us seemed to get waited on but for some reason our section was continuously skipped over. Our drinks would get cleared but new ones were never offered, neither was the lunch menu. My husband would have to go to the bar himself any time we wanted something. On the contrary we took the water taxi to the beach club where we were treated fabulously. If we would return I would prefer to stay there. Also the food was excellent at both parts of the resort. We ate at 301 east, Ceilo, the sushi restaurant and poolside at the beach club. Everything we ordered was excellent. I recommend the basil martini at Ceilo. Overall not what I would expect from a Waldorf but we had a fabulous time enjoying all of the sights and relaxing.
