“Beautiful property and good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

Sprawling property with several buildings spread over a wide area. The resort provides frequent shuttle service with friendly and informative drivers. Avoid the bungalows and try to get a room in the beach club. The room views range from skyline vistas to parking lots. Specify what you want at check in. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Room Tip: Specify that you want a good view when reserving and checking in.

My wife and I reserved a room at the Resort thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were given a pretty uncomfortable room. We spoke to the manager, who took such great care of us you cannot imagine! First, he gave us two $60 meal credits (which by the way, barely covered the cost of one person's dinner at Morimoto - although that was fantastic too!); then when he found out we were sitting at the beach, came over to talk to us; then, he upgraded us from a standard room to a room at the Yacht Club overlooking the InterCoastal. I cannot begin to describe how delighted my wife and I were with all the extra care that the hotel's staff and management gave us during this stay.

Stayed 4 days for a conference.
There is no doubt that this is a top class hotel/resort with great service, well maintained buildings manicured lawns and studied pleasure zones. I stayed in a junior suite which was really nice room with a great panoramic view (across several windows) over the inland waterway. The nuts in the minibar were great but cost 11 bucks a throw.

Food was pretty good, there are some nice shops on site, you can even get a Hertz car without leaving the main building. Swum in a very nice pool near the tower (best in the early morning) and there are other pools around.

You can get a boat ride to the Beach Club up to about 5:30pm which is more fun than the minibus shuttle.

So all in all it's a great place so what's not to like? There's just something missing; even with the pink plaster buildings, the history, the setting it just seemed, well, dull. It was efficient perfection, regimented relaxation - a vacuous vacation in a bubble. It is the same feeling I get in Disneyland; I felt I should wear a tie to go to the beach. If you like that sort of thing then this resort is for you. If not, drive on south.

Room Tip: There is quite a few locations for rooms in this hotel so do some research and maybe call the hotel...

We went here for our 2 year anniversary and I still remember how terrible it was!! We had to get a babysitter for our weekend get away- I was pregnant at the time as well so ready for some rest and good eats. The only positive was the grounds were nice and the morning buffet was good... other then that the service was TERRIBLE and the room WORSE.... It was old, old, old- the air was broken and the only bathroom was next to the bed (how romantic.) Also- we were told the room had a "view"...we had to look at half naked hairy men and old woman walking by as the spa was literally right outside our window! To end the worst weekend get away ever we went to get some sushi at morimotos... well after spending something crazy like $200 for 2 of us (no drinks included) we both got up at 3am to throw it all up.. I had to grab a small cranberry juice from the mini bar...which they charged like $11 for... STAY AWAY from this place. When we have a grand to spend on a nice place we will choose The Breakers resort in West palm!

We are so pleased you chose to stay with us during your special anniversary last year and sincerely regret we could not offer you the world class experience you expected. We promise our guests a singular Waldorf luxury experience, and we will use your comments to ensure that we are continually working to achieve that ideal. The Cloisters accommodations are the oldest of the five accommodations we offer at the resort but we are planning so exciting renovations for those rooms in the coming year. I’m also terribly sorry that you became ill and we will continue to look at our culinary offerings to ensure we’re providing the best selections for our guests. I sincerely appreciate your feedback and do hope that you return in the future and give us the opportunity to impress you with the service.

Sincerely,
Peter J. Serena

Just spent 4 days at the resort for a business conference and loved it. My room was a junior suite in the tower with a harbor view. The junior suite offers a sitting area, dining room table and bedroom, plenty of space to work, relax and sleep. Wi-fi worked flawlessly. The hotel is fully staffed with a full-time concierge, valet service, and many attendants to help you arrive and depart. The property includes a beach club that is across the intracoastal waterway from the main hotel. The resort includes many restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences, from sushi to italian to seafood to steaks. The resort includes a full-service spa, which I heard was quite good, but I didn't experience. All services of the main resort are within walking distance; the beach club and the main resort are serviced by shuttles that run regularly. Conference facilities, services, food and beverage are very high quality, consistent with the high standard of the resort. I hope to return soon!

We just spent several days here at the Boca Raton Resort for a convention. THe propery is in great condition and is well taken care of. It is a very large property with several offerings for dinner, entertainment, etc.

Our meeting area was very clean and all attendees complimented the quality of food. The staff does a great job in this area. I would highly recommend it for a meeting of 20 to 1020 people.

The rooms are very well appoints. We had an executive suite overlooking the yacht club. Great view and extra space for entertaining. The health club is way above average, golf course is excellent, all in all a great value.

Room Tip: Try Yacht Club rooms or Tower rooms depending on what you are looking to do. Yacht club is a bit qu...

Had the opportunity to spend four days in Boca Raton at the amazing hotel and resort.
The rooms were large and well appointed. Separate lounge area with large screen TV. Excellent work area with plenty of power outlets. The wifi was good and provided a strong signal at all times.
Comfortable bed and great view of the water from the windows.
All in all a good experience.

Room Tip: My room was in the tower. Short walk from the main hotel but worth it for the room size and quality.
