“Great fresh food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2011

A very pleasant evening on a quiet night on a beautiful barrier island. A new restaurant to boca grande in the last 2 -3 years, but they have come a long way. The menu is simple, but ingredients are all very fresh. Nice wine selection and outdoor dining in the garden on a nice fall night make for a lovely dining experience. Make this a place to go on your boca grande experience!! P.S. Be daring and try the calves liver!!!!! Excellent.

“Our best meals in Boca Grande!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2011

We had a great breakfast here - everything perfect. Even more exceptional was the dinner we had a couple of nights later - first class menu with food prepared to perfection. Our compliments to the chef and the waitstaff.

“"Thank You Sean"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2011

Just returned home from a wonderful trip with my wife and family in Boca Grande, and felt the need to quickly post a thank you to the 3rd Street Cafe, particularly Sean, for having made our trip that much more pleasant, as we ate breakfast, lunch, AND dinner at the Cafe numerous times over the week. The food was always wonderful, if a little inconsistant during breakfast/lunch. And although my very picky daughter sometimes couldn't make up her mind, Sean's patience, and humor always brought us back for more. Had he not made our first visit so pleasant, I don't know if we would have returned as often.
I highly recommend the 3rd Street, as it is clean, contemporary, and what I found was a value on Boca. Thankyou to the staff, and kitchen help, and keep up the good work! And thanks again Sean for the laughs, and excellent service provided during our stay!

We rode our bikes here for breakfast from the Village Inn, a 1 minute ride haha! I loved the garden, very cozy, tropical and cool. The food was good, the service excellent. Prices not horrible

“Dissappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2011

Our waitress was a young girl (still in middle ? school) who really was pleasant but not a waitress. She could not keep the drink orders straight on several tries and forgot the mayo (me) and tartar sauce (riding buddy). I ordered the burger ($10) medium (it was well done) with potato salad (1 and 1/2 tablespoons). Yes, you read it correctly. Less than 2 tablespoons of potato salad on my plate and the same amount on my riding buddy;s plate. He had the grouper sandwich (4-6 ounces) for $13+. The burger came with nice fresh tomato, lettuce, and red onion.

Our wives went with the quiche and though the portion was small they said it was fine since it came with a salad. My wife also ordered the clam chowder which unlike the other portions was quite large. The bad news was that it was so thick and floury that she wouldn't eat it. They offered to remake it but were kind enough to take it off the bill.
