Casa Grande only has 3 rooms so book in advance. The house has a great deck and beach to lounge on. John & Kathleen are gracious hosts with gourmet breakfast, books, kayaks, and good local info are readily available. If you want some excitement Key West is not a far drive, but I recommend just sitting around, something we didn't do enough of. I know I'm being picky, but the only thing keeping this rating from being excellent is the hot-tub is just so-so.
I stayed @ Case Grande for one night this month and give it a big thumbs up! The location is perfect and far enough off of Highway 1 that you never hear traffic, feel stressed etc. The owners are extrememly nice, offer helpful suggestions and really make you feel at home. My bkfst in the morning was great too. They have bikes and sea kayaks @ no fee for use. I would stay here again and recommend Casa Grande to anyone who enjoys staying at a B&B.
I have stayed at Casa Grande in the Florida Keys on several occasions and it is by far the best place to stay while vacationing in Florida. Location is superb and close to area attractions. Private beach is awesome, owners are very hospitable, and rooms are very roomy and clean. Thanks for all the wonderful stays I have had at Casa Grande.
