We were planning on trying the Bal Harbour Bistro but en route, stumbled across Carpaccio. And thank goodness for that. I'm a total foodie and have sampled many top restaurants both domestic and abroad.
This gem is nothing shy of spectacular. The warm crusty bread they brought to the table was to die for. The salads we started with were fresh and well paired. The entrees and pizza we tried were equally impressive, showcasing a true understanding of traditional Italian food. To top it off, the pricing was exceptional. We were so impressed, we returned the next night (after spending the day of debating what to order for dinner).
The one and only downside was it seems the place is being renovated. As a result, there is limited charm to the work-in-progress setting and the tables are tight. We were amazed that there wasn't a single collission between servers as they hustled every which way.
This is a solid Italian eatery and a wonderful choice if you are nearby. I highly reccomend it - something I can't say very often.
