My wife and I recently returned from a six day stay at this hotel. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The property itself is very new and the location for us was excellent right across from the Bal Harbour Shops.

Rooms and all public areas are modern and immaculate. Pool and beach likewise.

On arrival we were recognized by name, congratulated on our anniversary and upgraded to a suite. For the first few days, every employee we interacted with welcomed us and wished us a happy anniversary. Clearly this was noted in their guest system but each interaction felt sincere and genuine. The employee experience really makes the difference here. Butler or poolside, reception or car valet, every single employee offered a warm, respectful interaction. Not robotic from a training book but personalized and welcoming. We have had the opportunity to stay at some great hotels both in North America and Europe but nothing came close to this.

If you're looking for consistently outstanding service, I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing ! The actual unit was luxurious and spectacular. The grounds were pristine and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Thomas Bliss the Concierge and Carlos at the beach were especially wonderful! Some things were a little pricey but that is to be expected at a stellar resort like this. The Remede spa is one of the best I have been to. In general I am a picky traveler and I did not have one complaint....You know it is an awesome place when I started to plan my return vacation while I was still at the resort!

Room Tip: All rooms face the beach.

We loved this hotel. Generally we do not like to stay in places with children and have High rise buildings. The St. Regis is definitely a High rise that is family friendly. That being said the do ouch a great job catering to both adults and families. There are separate Adult pools and the beach is generally quiet.
Check in was easy. We booked a OFJS and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a One Bedroom suite. Do not be afraid to ask. The room was absolutely beautiful with two OF balconies and Two bathrooms,
The staff were amazing from check-in, ,Butler service etc.The service at both the beach and pool was amazing. They truly do a great job. If they see you moving your beach chair they move it for you. What makes this resort special is how they make the guests feel special..I do not know how anyone can complain about the service here. I left something in my car so instead of having to go down to pick it up they brought it to me. When staying in a suite coffee service is included which was always delivered promptly as well. Prior to arrival they called to see if we need anything extra in our room. These little touches were greatly appreciated.
The Spa Service was excellent. The Spa was beautiful but I would have liked their relaxation room to have lounge chairs not couches. I generally enjoy relaxing at the spa and I found the couches uncomfortable. Otherwise the spa is great. We had dinner at JG and enjoyed it and we also enjoyed listening to jazz music in the lounge after dinner. .At 730 they have a champagne ceremony tasting in the wine vault that is nice to attend.
During the day we spent our time on the beach, There are more than enough chairs and space for everyone. Service at the beach was amazing. There are Three pools, The main which is really a family pool and Two Adult pools upstairs. In the late afternoon we went to the Adult pool for a quick swim and we also enjoyed the hidden Jacuzzi. They do enforce the Adult only rules which was nice for us. The pool was always empty in the late afternoon but there was always staff to take care of your needs. We stayed for three nights and we left to spend time with family and we were then planning to head to DC which we unfortunately had to postpone. Oh well what should we do and back to the St. Regis we go/We spent another Three nights and had a great time. They truly go out of their way to take care of their guests. Remember do not be afraid to ask for anything unreasonable as they want you to enjoy your stay

What an amazing vacation. What sticks out of my mind was the service at the adult pool!!!
The staff was unbelievable!!
One of the staff members at the adult pool stood out his name is Wagner. He couldn't do enough for us!!!! Great vacation!!!

This hotel is trying too hard by having too many employees trying to help and systems that work against Five Star expectations. The result is an experience inferior to the Four Seasons but that costs even more.

For example, the Butler system (deployed mainly for the Suites) does not work well because they have the butlers intercepting too many tasks. Want something from housekeeping? Well, if you ask the butler it may or may not get relayed effectively. One morning I had to call 3 times to get the room serviced. Want to review your folio charges? Well, your butler will insist you explain your questions to them and they'll pass it along. But you may need to speak to the front desk anyway and start over. And then, you may need to ask for a Manager because the front desk doesn't have authority for $100 decisions.

Being a techie, I would normally be impressed with technology but this hotel is drowning in their tech.

Elevators that don't have floor buttons, cordless phones that may be from another room, computerized lighting controls, computerized curtains- may or may not work as you need them. They didn't always for me.

Many of the employees were exceptional and the hotel building is new and clean. Heavy use of glass and marble, however, makes the decor cold and loud- the breakfast restaurant for example is very loud due to its size and reflective surfaces.

Add to this another dozen annoyances (like vibration noises when you open the faucet and a stop light at exit that makes you wait forever) and it adds up to Deversorium Non Grata.

Breathtaking hotel, stunning lobby, very friendly staff, gourmet restaurant, fantastic room & modern bathroom. We just love Miami and the St Regis is one of the most civilized & elegant addresses on the beach. Stayed two days and dined at j&g both nights it was so very very good! Sure to please the most discriminating of travelers can't go wrong with St Regis!

The service, rooms and ambiance of this hotel were top rate.

At the pool John was wonderful as well as Carmen with her wonderful neck and back massages.

The room was wonderful overlooking the North side of the hotel.

Dinner was delicious at J & G Grill.

We would definitely return to the St. Regis.

Room Tip: Low numbered rooms facing North.
