“Wonderful Wedding Week end”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Just returned from spending the weekend at the Inn at Wilmington for our daughter's wedding. The staff was very friendly and always available. Especially enjoyed starting the day chatting with Ida Mae at breakfast. The room accommodations were excellent. Lots of close by shopping and restaurants available. Thanks for making a wonderful week end even more enjoyable and stress free.

I checked in for two nights and found out on the second morning that I had been checked out when my tourism host came to pick me up and was told I wasn't there.

Other than that, the stay was fine.

The bed, pillows and towels were all excellent, the toiletries weren't.

There was a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and work desk, free wifi, a hot breakfast and onsite parking.

Situated off the highway and not too far from malls and restaurants.

I came in town to see a colleague of mine from high school, in had been over 30 years. After he and I had a chance to confer, I was privileged to stay at the Wilmington Inn. Each and every employee treated me with professional courtesy that exceeded every 5 star experience I have ever had. Manager, Lelia Pierce, is a hotel manager above all! Her personality permeated through her staff in a manner of excellence like I have never seen before.

Inn Wilmington, please, keep people such as these in place at all times.

We stayed for a couple of days and found the rooms to be very comfortable. It was even possible to read in bed because the lighting was excellent! The staff is very attentive and take care of issues immediately.

my wife and I stayed here a night over 4th of July for first visit to Wilmington. the place was clean, safe, empty and was a 10 min easy ride to downtown Wilmington and the waterfront. the room and common areas were clean and comfortable and appear to have been recently updated. free breakfast and parking were a plus. front desk and staff were friendly. not much going on at night other than a bunch of chain restaurants but at least room was quiet.

I walked into this hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised. The people who checked us in were very friendly and aware of our needs. The breakfast was great and this location was very accessible to a lot of restaurants, shopping and other attractions. Downtown Wilmington is about 20-30 minutes away. Don't be fooled by this hotel not having a pool because they have a contract worked out with the neighboring hotel so you can go over there anytime.

My wife and I stayed there overnight in June. It is easy to get to IF you pay attention to the directions; the traffic light creeps up on you kinda quickly and may catch you unawares. The room was quite good, the heat/ac was easy to adjust and quiet. Parking was no problem.
We were disappointed by the breakfast: a nearby competitor had hot scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage. do-it-yourself-waffles, and a large bowl of fresh fruit. The breakfast here could best be called Continental with a side of waffles. I like waffles and my wife likes cereal and milk. We were good to go but you might be disappointed with just this.

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Inn at Wilmington! We hope you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback. We were surprised to hear the breakfast was not waht you expected. Our breakfast always includes hot and cold items including a variety of cereals, bagels, toast, mini pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, and a selection of juices along with coffees and teas. We hope you will stay with us again when you visit the Wilmington area.
