My partner Rich, and I, just finished a wonderful week's stay there. It was incredible.

Our hosts, Mark and Joe, could not have been more accommodating. They were friendly, and very helpful when it came to recommending places to dine, and things to do. Anything we needed for the beach...umbrellas, chairs, coolers...were provided for us. And breakfast was always fresh and delicious. We also loved the location.

Our room had a deck with a spectacular view of the lake, and the ocean beyond. The rooms were kept immaculate and it was a wonderful, peaceful and romantic getaway for us.

Silver Lake Guest House really made our trip to Rehoboth Beach memorable and we both are looking forward to returning.

When our vacation plans fell through at the last minute my partner and I decided to head to Rehoboth Beach for the week. Friends who live in Rehoboth recommended Silver Lake Guest House. We were lucky to find last minute availability at this wonderful, well-run property. I highly recommend the guest house to the 35+ set who appreciate well-appointed and comfortable rooms as well as amazing service. Mark and Joe have run the guest house for over 20 years and it shows. They have thought of everything, are there when you need them - just amazingly warm and friendly hosts. Our room was large, comfortable mattress, nice and fresh linens, small bathroom with great towels and toiletries. A little noisy but you expect that in a bed and breakfast. Location is great if you don't mind a 20 minute walk into town and a 15 minute walk to the beach. Views of Silver Lake are stunning from the house. We enjoyed using all of the amenities - beach towels, beach chairs, outdoor shower, etc. The one thing we would change is breakfast. It was a little light - essentially bread and fruit. Maybe offer yogurts one day, cold cuts and cheese another day, hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs another day. We'll definitely keep this place on our short list of places to stay in Rehoboth!

We visited the Guest House recently and were pleasantly impressed with everything Joe and Mark offered: great breakfast, beach chairs & coolers, packages of ice, beach towels, etc. The room was quiet and well-equipped. I would have liked the bathroom to be slightly cleaner, but it was okay.

The location is superb....just about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice view from the upstairs patio. Good parking.

The best thing about the place is the hospitality offered by Joe and Mark. They want to make sure guests are taken care of. I enjoyed talking to them and felt pampered by their care and concern.

Silver Lake is the perfect low key, first class and comfortable place to stay in Rehoboth. Mark and Joe welcome guests into their home...they live on the first floor...and effortlessly make every person's stay memorable. Breakfasts consist of freshly baked muffins, bagels, and muffins with appropriate spreads, delicious fruit and coffee. There is an attractive outdoor deck and rooms on the third floor have balconies with views of the lake and ocean. Towels and beach chairs are available for beaching five minutes away. Silver Lake is a short drive from the main street in Rehoboth where a rich selection of fine restaurants abound. The clientele is decidedly gay but married couples and singles are clearly welcomed. I have stayed with Mark and Joe twice and would definitely return again. Highly recommended.
