“Nice Resturant.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Want beer? Here's your place. They have any type you could think of. Don't know what you want? Order a sampler and go from there. Great service. Love the option for take home beer from the tap.

“So many beers, so little time....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

A few years ago I was visiting some friends in Maryland and they took me on a day trip to Rehoboth Beach.
We went to The dogfish Head for lunch, and I could have stayed there all day.
They have a wide range original beers, and excellent food.
We actually bought a sample tray of beers, and it was difficult to decide which to have, there are so many good ones.

The menu was the same, it was hard to decide what to choose, but we all enjoyed the food.

The staff are efficient and friendly, and there was a relaxing atmosphere, if I'm ever in the area again it will be my first choice for meal and / or a drink.

“Food just so-so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The dogfish head beer is great, they have plenty of choices, some are not so wonderful depending on your tastes but they have so many options that you will definitely find several that you really like. The food is not so great, it's not bad, but not good either. We had the fish and chips and the macaroni and cheese, the mac and cheese really didn't have much of a flavor and my husband said the fish and chips was ok. I did enjoy the beer chocolate bacon cheesecake, definitely a different combination but really good, and a huge serving. We split the piece and still took half of it home. Overall come here for the beer and if you need to eat while drinking, the food is ok, but don't come just for the food.

“cult favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

A hungry group of 12 met here on a Sunday afternoon after an 8-mile hike at Cape Henlopen. They opened up the upstairs section and we were seated within minutes. Plenty of beer choices. I had the fish tacos and would order them again. Others had grouper sandwiches, burgers and grilled portabello sandwiches - all good.

“Just beer, please!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

In a town of FABULOUS restaurants, I was SORELY disappointed with this pub food. First clue should have been, when a "Bacardi & Coke" had to be returned - flat coke and who-knows-what kind of rum just poured on top (definately not bacardi's). Then the "pub salad", after one bite was just pushed to the side. The greens were "old & musty" tasting and what ever they concocted for the dressing tasted as if it was turning bad. After this, ordering anything else was out of the question. If I EVER am forced to return it will only be for a beer.
